i you are a hercules man!! tell me how can you get it back to original position by hands, its awesome power, seems that 21BHP is not enough for P220 to compete with you in power...

my P180ug4 crash also got bent in minor accident, i tried to correct it to normal by hands but that took damn out of me and still i was not able to bent it back to normal even by 1mm

man u are strong. i can never get it to original position with just hands. i kick it with my leg to push it back.
But its taking a lot of damage right? i mean my crash guard has got bent almost 10 times till date and iam able to get it back to original position again without it breaking at the bent place.
Maybe this is its job. As a few members suggested, the single piece crash guard may damage the chassis as well in case of a crash.

Under mixed style driving it lasts for about 4.5-5.5k kms for me.
Till now... this is the 3rd time I am using Motul 300v.... the first time I changed @ 4.5k kms.... second at 5.5k kms.... this time its already 2.7k kms.... and I don't feel any need to change... and hopefully will change at 5k kms...so approx... it runs for 4.5-5k kms. Did a top up of 100ml the second time coz the oil level dipped as some oil was leaking from the black head bushing on the right (above the right sparkplug).

When do you change the oil? Is there a change/difference in engine sound/viberation/revving when you decide to go for an oil change?

well i am strong and huge ... but that doesnt mean i can bend the crash guard using my hand... but i was able to!! or may be because it got weak/broken near mounts after crash?
either my crash guard is very weak, or i am really that strong!
and one piece guard doesn't damage chassis... one of my brother's friend had a very major accident where his bullet literally went under a lorry... the crash guard was so strong that it was only bent a bit and little damage to bike, where as the lorry had to be lifted using a jack to pull out the bike...

You're forgetting something buddy. We are talking about a Pulsar's chassis The crash guard has to be softer/weaker than the chassis. Else, incase of a crash, you might find the crash guard intact but the chassis will be warped.

                  and the change in performance?
My friend Harish_ZMA[id on xbhp] does it. He also fits NOS kits for cars and bikes.

                  I will test it soon.

If i fit the 36 rear of the new dtsi, i will gain even more speed. Now the next mod will be the rear sprocket.

And the difference is very significant. The top end has definitely changed. The 5th gear performance is now on the fourth gear. The fifth gear is a power boost!!
The top end rush is very good! I am happy with it.

Very special thanks to Harish_ZMA for the mods.
What was the top speed you had hit earlier on your bike?

                    - Try hitting your topspeed at the same spot again?
                    - How much is the gain on the roller bench?

I have seen 136kmph on speedo before. I will try again now.
Where can i find roller bench?

Harish's NOS Karizma will be featured in next Bike India issue.

Roller bench is the MRTB which you will find in all company owned service centres..

Do post your before and after topspeeds too.

how much have you lost out on low-end accleration now? usually one less tooth at the rear makes quite a difference to accleration-but the equivalent of 3 less?

                            Comment

                            • ^Yes, equivalent of 3 less on rear. The initial acceleration has reduced a bit. But i am not complaining. First three gears are traffic friendly. 4th and 5th gear are where the action is.
I can't say about the roller bench. But i will be riding on highway on Monday morning. So i will post the report tomorrow evening.

                                3teeth + 1 teeth taller geared?!
would the engine produce enough torque to redline in 5th gear??
