They emptied the tank & cleared water too. Water had seeped in. But still not completely ok as Manohar (the adviser) said they will change the sensor near the throttle body. Under warranty.

Also on 13th most prob my babe will be getting V day gift
new headlight, new fairing, new fairing bracket. Need to contact the insurance guy

FRANK: Howdy man??? Is your problem like mine?
i'm fine buddy...my prob is i'm not getting 100% power, i think its giving me 70% only

If it's just the RPM needle stuck at odd positions, then it's fine. The PBK guys will just open up the speedo, set the needle with fingers. IT happend with me also, after installing HIDs, but I feel it was because the speedo got dropped from the saddle.

It happed to me twice after that, instead of going to PBK I adjusted the needle at home.

          Hey,
Check your spark plugs for the state of tune. Guessing never worked for me. Believe it or not my bike pulls really good even with a terribly lean mixture & no its not psychological.
I guess u must have changed the fuel filter. Also get throttle body & injector cleaned. This may improve things.

              1. The mech removed the RH side engine cover and dismantled the clutch bell & assy
completely. (no problem with the clutch) re-fitted it again immediately after inspecting
something in the engine. there is no answer when i asked him why he remover the clutch
              assy.

              2. when he checked for the CO, (because i am thinking that the bike is running very lean. i
felt like that) it showed 4.50 so as said here, i asked him to set it to 2.50,
even leaner by 2.0 ?? and i still feel that the bike is running lean. its actually
struggling to pick up speed especially during rollons. definitely the acceleration has gone
              down.

can somebody shed some light on this?

the casing on the left side was removed for me during 3rd free service... he rectified something inthe so called magneto coil, lubed some parts and put back the cover...

do u have enough tyre treads, are the worn out in the middle? or are they fine ? coz everyone knows there wont be traction on a worn out tire(or a tire thats yet to be worn out) ....normally during a really really quick start, i still end up spinning the rear tire which struggles to grasp any grip with the immense acceleration...

like someone said in the earlier threads, a similar prob arose when some had their clutch slipping... chain slack adjusted ? well lubed ?

lastly get ur throttle body and injectors cleaned like rahul said.. might help.. let us know how things go...

@rahul9985.. my bike is 5500 km old, ok, the bike may pull really good even with a terribly lean mixture. but there is a danger lurking......running with lean mixture will definitely lead to engine damage like breakage of crank, bent valves & damage to cylinder and piston that's what i am concerned about.

@vid_powerstroke...the problem i'm experiencing is like when we adjust a carbed (2 stroke)bike's AFR to very lean settings, it'll behave normally before entering its powerband. as soon as it enters the powerband, the rush of power wouldn't be there due to lean AFR settings. its just like that. Air filter cleaned, chain lubed & adjusted for slack. so i suspect that the CO settings were screwed up because it showed >4.50 in the 3rd service, the mech adjusted it to 2.50. still no change except a louder in-take roar while accelerating hard. but i didnt encounter any over heating probs when i did a non-stop 200+ KM run after 3rd service.

I understand buddy.. now dont worry about the lean mixture. but get it corrected.... i suggest one last thing...
get ur fuel injectors cleaned for any clog..i suspect some clog in it ..leading to reduced spray to aid performance and fuel flow at higher powerband. get the CO tuning fixed...

is this the strange sound when ur fork compresses ? on ur fork's, check if there is a film of oily substance found on it. if so ur oil seal would be broken.. get ur fork tightened once again.....
