no, but iam thinking of making it chor proof by clamping it to the fairingOriginally posted by prafultripathy View PostApart from getting wet in really heavy rains. Is the chor proof?
Btw, what about vibes in high speed?
and about the vibes, this thing is actually fixed to a flexible rexine cloth. i folded it backwards and attached it with two way adhesive tape, so the vibes at high-speeds are dampened, i think it'll work fine, but we should see what happens in the long run
yeah, this two way adhesive tape can really hold things very strong. very useful for bikes especially to kill the fairing vibes/soundsOriginally posted by Sak8 View Postnice diy....
but im curious to know what happens at high vibes??
does these tapes can hold this thing tight??Biker of the Year -2013

Yup its for nikhil.. Its fit & i guess u must have checked it out by this time.Originally posted by onlinesatish View PostWTF....is it for nikhil? crazy man! Have u changed the rear tyre or not?
The side panel wasnt locked. It was just fit into the hole. U can put a clamp for locking the side panel. I was actually running the bike without both side covers & trust me it was looking killer.Originally posted by diehard View Post@ rahul9985
:I pulled out the airbox. Since i put it just to kill time i wasnt really bothered to check the performance gains.
1. Iam already irritated.
2. The vibes increased as soon as i put the filter. I get some tingling feel in my butt.
3. Wouldnt keep it that long.
4. go to point no. 1
hey how do u put on the side panel if u have removed the airbox ??? did u do some alteration ?? or somethin temporary ?? would love to knw it i have my friends r1100 k&n (lol he has also left it for junk) so wanted to put it on on my bike just for abt 2 or 3 days thts it ! lemme knw wat u did ty

Nice job frank.Originally posted by frankpilli View PostGuys, i fitted a digital clock with day date and Temp on my 220 Fi, need ur views/comments on this....
@ALL
Guys i got a Michellin Sirac for my rear.
Must say it has got some AWESOME stopping capability for a rear tyre. And the best part iam getting more mileage.
Would give a short review as i use it more.Biking is not my Passion, it is my Religion!

Off the top of my head this is the 4th 220 guy putting Siracs. You, John, Niranjan and now Rahul. Rode John's bike after he put R15's front. Couldn't feel much from the front as his brakes are in poor shape but the rear felt insanely sticky while accelerating in corners.Originally posted by prafultripathy View PostFinally the Sirac fever is catching up!

Whats the rate of Sirac in Hyd?

I guess its around 2700 MRP. I got it for 2550 from the same dealer from where u were sent your Sirac.Originally posted by prafultripathy View PostFinally the Sirac fever is catching up!

Well, there are many many pulsars which Sirac's, atleast in Hyderabad but not on xBhp. U missed out Prabhakar. He also has it.Originally posted by Samyaza View PostOff the top of my head this is the 4th 220 guy putting Siracs. You, John, Niranjan and now Rahul. Rode John's bike after he put R15's front. The Sirac has got excellent corner grip. I was redlining in 2nd gear on a very tight corner, leaning, almost scraping my foot pegs & trust me there was not even slight wobble. Next i'll be shifting to R15 front for some more fun. Even my front tyre is bald.
I somehow feel a pulsar should have come with dual discs. Needs better stopping capability.Biking is not my Passion, it is my Religion!
