RIDE SAFe !

Yeah i know it.. Even with a smaller filter it can rev hard & fast. Its a free flow filter afterall.

Vidya is right! R1060 is too small for the 220. It needs the larger R1100.

And it will rev faster than stock all the way till red line. It will also have a slightly better topend than stock. Just one thing, don't keep it standalone, run it from inside the airbox. The roar will be more subdued but the pull will still be there.

Some KnN facts!

- You will get irritated of the sound soon.
- You're bike's refiniment will go for a toss soon
- Your engine will die earlier than usual
- You will get irritated of the KnN and junk it in a few months!

I pulled out the airbox. Since i put it just to kill time i wasnt really bothered to check the performance gains.
1. Iam already irritated.

2. The vibes increased as soon as i put the filter. I get some tingling feel in my butt.

3. Wouldnt keep it that long.
4. go to point no. 1

This is a nice idea. My head is spitting oil onto the right plug. Need to get that checked. My first genuine problem in the last 27k kms.

Oooh KnN facts
guess thats why your friend's KnN was lying around.

Actually he wanted to put it onto his passion. But its intake hose is not big enough to fit the K&N. So i had to file the flange to make it fit in the hose. Now need to cut the airbox to fit. This is the result of total joblessness.

WTF....is it for nikhil? crazy man! Have u changed the rear tyre or not?

**nitrosatya** · 02-21-2010, 08:07 PM

I have set my best personal record. 20 kms in 20.xx mins !!!! The Pulsar is fast!

But i am feeling a little bit wobble at the front. Changed the front tyre. Also she is running a bit hot. Might correct the AF mixture.

how did you fix this to the bike...is it safe to leave it around unattended? or have you devised some mechanism of detaching it when not around?

not actually, but the fairing can keep it dry while the bike is moving....but cant say when the bike is parked in a heavy down pour

this clock is sourced from a fold-able pen stand, which are being used in our office, so i purchased one for Rs.100 !, and the clock is attached to the rexine cloth. i cut the clock from it with one inch length of rexine on top & bottom, folded it back, and stick them with 2 sided adhesive tape, and stick he top end to the wind shield and the bottom end to the Tacho/speedo console. its a temp/test fitting and i will improve it to be safe while the bike is un-attended.

May-be, one can get it laminated to protect it from WETTING.
