bro i had this problem too..
took bike to pbk they took bike for a day and changed bearings.according to them bearings in the front fork got cutted due to improper lubrication.
i didnt know how to lube front forks. it costed me 120rs.
dont knw whether they are right or not but problem rectified.

                    • For timepass i Just fit a friend's K&N R1060 filter on my bike which was lying around. Boy-o-Boy!! Iam in love with the intake roar!!

                      Immediate differences noticed:
                      1. The bike was seeming to rev quicker till redline when in neutral.
                      2. The surge of the FI was reduced or rather missing when revving hard.
                      3. I guess iam running lean as i had some 'awesome' backfires. Will tune tomorrow.
                      4. I somehow felt the bike to be a tad quicker than stock bike. Or it may be psychological. Lets see tomorrow.

the actual K&n recommended for a 220 is r1100 u know it well tooo.. with a smaller filter than stock , i wonder how the bike manages to pull in so much of air or for the rpm to redline quicker..

Vidya is right! R1060 is too small for the 220. It needs the larger R1100.

And it will rev faster than stock all the way till red line. It will also have a slightly better topend than stock. Just one thing, don't keep it standalone, run it from inside the airbox. The roar will be more subdued but the pull will still be there.
