Folks, who have had their fuel pumps replaced. Please let me know what were the symptoms you were facing before the pump gave up.

In other news, I finally changed my tyres. For the first I'm changed both front and back tyres on the same day. Also for the first time running the front tyre with a tube.
Here is the pic. I hope this is what we are talking about.

    Cheers

Perhaps the bike is slowly getting revamped part by part itself. Good luck mate.

          Cheers!

Once upon a time, a guy asked a girl 'Will you marry me?'
          The girl said, 'NO!'

And the guy lived happily ever after and rode motorcycles and watched sport on a big screen TV, went fishing and surfing, and played golf a lot, and drank beer and scotch and had tons of money in the bank and left the toilet seat up and farted whenever he wanted.

            • Hi guys,
              I have a query,
There's a 2011 model, p220 run for 13k and selling price is 65k. Is it worth going for?
"Madness", as you know, is a lot like gravity, all it takes is a little push !

Test ride it. Don't leave any stones unturned. And go for it only if you're really happy with your purchase. These are pretty basic, but ultimately the decision is yours.

But, is the price tag of 65k good to go for?
The bike is pretty well maintained though, gotta test ride it..

no bro..dont go for it...65k for a 2011 model wit 13k on odo is too costly...see other bikes as well.!!2011 may be selling around 50-58!!but 65k is too high!i would suggest u to wait for some more time or get a 2012 p220 which may be costing around 60-65k!!

No matter what price people quote make sure the price is justified by INSPECTING the bike. You can bargain for 60k max. There are even worse 220s than are quoted crazy price tag.

If you love it and get a good price to bargain with, go for our.

                      Cheers!

                      • Hey Pulsarians.... Could anyone please post a pic(in reply to my post) of the inner fairing....the part that is visible around the t-tube of the bike? I gave my bike for servicing(im from Goa) and they sorta messed up the wiring...and im quite particular bout the arrangement and neatness of the wiring present...

All the wiring can be perfectly synced with the metal clips. Some bikes have it synced and some don't. Just follow the clips and they'll guide the wire properly.

                          Cheers!

Well...that's the thing...the wires seem to be a bit tight and the rubber socks with the respective plugs in it do not reach the metal curl on clips.....though ive just tried arranging it with my own instinct hehe...thanks anyways.... another query: im getting this "click"sound when the front shocks get fully compressed and another click when the shocks return to the original position.

Another thing....do u know where I could purchase the old sticker set for 220 fi? and do I need to repaint the tank to replace the stickers?

Sticker wise can try in PBK as they have the stickers But FI "can" be s little hard to source. But it should be available. I've seen a lot of DTSI bikes donning the 220 FI sticker, which means they should be avlbl.

Tick tick sound you mean? There can be lot of reasons like the wiring interfering at a particular point inside the fairing, worn stem bearing, I can only speculate without really knowing how and where I can feel it.

But just have a look at these two too, it might and might not be the reason. Just pointed out the common culprits

Thanks for the info.. thing is its tough to get pulsar parts in goa...specially fi....I literally have to try out numerous shops until one of em orders it for me....
Bout the "click"sound...it comes from the frnt shocks...apparently I guess the washers or something must be outta order......
