    • Everything is fine.

But @praful, broda.. Is that I see the lamination still on the Meter in Pic?
Or you got it replaced ?

The top most thing I loved & still love in 220 is Bajaj never launched any other version with some graphics / mods / or other.
I seriously pitty on those guys who bought R15 & after a month there was Version2 with a pack of changes.

Get in crowd of 220's and You're all same
      Love it. !

Nothing really I think PBKs are now least interested in servicing the 220. its only Kawasaki and KTM now!

Back in 2010 I had a slightly major frontal impact crash which damaged the outer cover of the meter. So I have a new outer cover since then :-)

I will remove the plastic once its totally screwed or when I touch 1L kms. whichever comes first

            Yes, the double color.
            But that wasn't that different.
And people still got the choice either to buy double color or single.

            Love 220.
Whoever asked Why I bought another 220 after my first was trash in accident, I could have chosen other too.
            The answer is simple.

              • Praful: You are very true. I can say that Duke & Ninja gets priority now these days. I wonder if Bajaj knows (or acknowledges) that there are 220 Fi owners who exist!!

I still have the original plastic foil over the meter. 5 years & 75000 Kms old.

                • guys i have a query....long back i had set my rear shock ab-sobers to max setting(hardest)...now i wanna go back to lowest one(soft)...is it possible to do so?
i asked a local mechanic to do the setting he replied that "the shock absorbers can be set only once in life time you have to get new one to get the soft setting".

Bullcrap! The bike itself comes with three settings, soft, med and hard. But if the shock itself is worn out (not enough damping action) then you need to get it changed, though it is very rare that shock absorbers go kaput real soon. Just bring the setting to the lowest level and you're all set.

                    Cheers!

Once upon a time, a guy asked a girl 'Will you marry me?'
                    The girl said, 'NO!'

And the guy lived happily ever after and rode motorcycles and watched sport on a big screen TV, went fishing and surfing, and played golf a lot, and drank beer and scotch and had tons of money in the bank and left the toilet seat up and farted whenever he wanted.

5 settings from hardest to softest

And the NoX needs to be recharged every 10K kms to keep the shockers going for long. But none of the pbks usually have the equipment to recharge it.

So basically without recharging I'd put the life to be around 40K at max. I used my first set of shock absorbers till 68K though

                        • ummm.... I haven't got my bike's shockers changed. How do you get to know of the bike's shocker not performing optimally? I mean, I can't feel any major decrease in performance of the shocker.

Ride a bike with new shock absorbers

The new one's that I put 22K kms ago are already going squishy, will junk them in another 15-20K max!

+1, I wanted to make the concise clear just so he understands, soft, med hard, though you are absolutely true about the 5 pronged setting, though seldom people put so much care into really looking as to what it is.

68k?? I reckon it's with a beautiful pillion Unfortunately I hate pillions, it's always me and the bike. That being said, will have a watchful eye on the shocker life though
