    I returned to India last week. Started my Pulsie after 8 months. She is just cranking. Nothing else is happening. Even if i remove the key, she keeps on cranking and the engine doesn't start. Eventually dies out from the charge drain. What [or how many things] is/are wrong with my Pulsar?

        Can be many things, if you had petrol in the tank, then the petrol has disintegrated and formed into varnish, a thick high viscous liquid which clogs the fuel lines, since yours if Fi ther eis good chance that the injector holes are clogged too, then battery drainage for sure will be there, unless you had removed the battery , and internal rusting in tank too.

        Get this all checked. All i mentioned are good probabilities, not necessarily these might be the issue, lets hope its not.

          Electrical issue, more likely to be ignition coil. After cranking does the low battery come on ?

          Open and clean the plugs, drain fuel and fill fresh fuel. Try dhakka start after that!

            Yup the low battery comes up. Will try that. Bajaj is towing my bike to service center. Lots of other stuff to do there. Will update when its done. Thanks!

              Do the battery load test, looks like no juice left in your battery.

                The battery is new. Old one was beyond any recharging capacity. The Relay is gone. What surprises me is that i put a new one. That too went kaput. The bike kept on cranking even without a key. The service center guy suggested me a modified cylindrical relay. But i am sticking with the conventional relay for the time being. Lets see if it works.
                Also cleaning the fuel lines,the oil filter, the whole bike. The front suspension has uneven damping rates. The left bottom one is new. Under hard braking the bike leans on one side.

                Will know the update tomorrow.

                  My fi 220 Back-fires a lot nowadays ! each and every time i close the throttle

                  Kms done : 46k
                  plugs new
                  Air filter stock / New
                  Fuel filter new
                  5100 semi synthetic oil


                  modds :

                  1) Hi lift cam ( from P220 dts i )
                  2) Irridium plugs Left CR9EIX right CR7EIX
                  3) Graphite coat piston

                  What would be the reason guys ?

                  Since you use Sirac Rear ! it makes the Rear Brake Dumb , i had run with Rear Bybre and Sirac - even then it was same ! but now with R15's 130/70-17 on rear !

                      5 years is not a long time ...
                      But it is when you have been in a Love-Hate relationship for 5 years ...

                      Happy 5th Birthday Dear Pulsar !!!

                      This would have to be 'our' slowest year yet...
                      So what if we did just 10K kms this year...
                      So what if we just did 6 rides/psuedo/so-called rides this year...
                      So what if you spent a good part of the year in hosptial...

                      Lets look forward to this year changing all that...
                      Lets look forward to getting you a 'mate' this year...
                      And, last but not the least lets look forward to BURN the tarmac again!!!
