congrats. time to get a new clipon and bolt. you are lucky it didnt happen when you were riding.

it was proberbly broken even when ridding but didnt notice it till i actually was wiping the grip

While coming back from coorg yesterday, had a small fall..

There was a pretty long right hander. and there were oncoming vehicles. out of these vehicles a maruthi van decides to put on the indicator and just take a turn without having a second thought for on coming vehicles. i happened to be a 40 -50 and was leading the group. for my luck there happened to be fine sand all over the place.. i braked as i would normally.. but rear wheel locked up. i went straight onto the rear of the Van. still i was steering the bike away from the van while rear wheel locked up but in vain. at first i thought i was about to T- bone the vehicle. if i had, things would have been different.

damaged the van pretty badly. my clutch lever and left handle bar dug into the vehicle. minimizing damage to myself and my bike.front faring has scratches. clutch lever is curved inwards. after the collision lost balance..bike threw me over onto its left.i went hands down.my gloves saved me from serious bruising.not a single scratch apart from a bruised confidence.

my lesson after this incident, NO matter how u careful u are, u still are vulnerable...

Riding gear is like the good Lord in disguise.. my gloves saved me from bruising when i landed on the ground.

Problems:

Headlight switching on and off on its own mind irrespective of the switch being ON.

Self not working properly.

Meter console light not working.

Bajaj has to work really hard on the electrical issues for FI bikes that are released in future.

I am facing a strange problem in heavy rains.

Suddenly the bike loses power, jerks and over revving cuts of power. I have to then move in first gear to ensure that bike doesn't die. Also, silencer gives out "phat" sounds.

What is the rain doing to my bike and how do i address it :-(

Note: Have driven in the rains (and a flood once :-D ) many times in the last 3 years on my T20 without any issues. This is new.

Got the chain sprocket kit changed at 21K kms .....waiting to get my bike tomorrow as eagerly as getting new bike coz its been like a month haven't gone for a long ride...

you need to get the co checked and tune it, this happens if the co level drops too low.

also i got the ffe from joel yesterday and man, its like ridding adifferent bike now

Engine Oil consumption in pulsar 220 fi after 40000Km

Today in morning i was faced oil Indication light malfunction light continue in meter. i Visited to the PBK Service they Checked & found OIL level sensor is ok. But engine oil level is low.Only 800Ml oil in engine,after the 800Km of the servicing. they kept my bike under observation for next 500km just top up oil & Release my bike. so i just want to ask want ask u guy's how much year P220 FI engine Warranty. 5 years with unlimited KM na?

Yup!! 5 yr with unlimited KM provided all the free services and the 1st 8 paid services were done on time.

Ola! Does anyone have any clue about the reason for MRF tires to be THAT expensive. 2800 for the Rear and 1700 for the front... I want to stay stock, but I have Pirellis available for 3k(rear). And is there a chance of there being fake Pirellis?
