NO problem in that case.. don't fix it unless its broken..

        • One very easy way to know that the company goofed up ur co tuning..
in my case, the co tuning was done. was set at 1.9% .. the AFR also went down. leading to bike running pretty lean.

          consequences i'm facing ?

well idling problems, irregular response, (slight)jerking at low speeds due to less fuel burning.

to compensate for this, the PBK guys meddled with the air screw coz they dint know what to do. thus Afr completely messed up.. going to get it rectified this Monday..

            • I am having a problem after giving the bike for servicing, when i start the bike idle rpm is 1.5k but as soon as i press the clutch & put it in gear the rpm increases to above 2k rpm without any touch on the accelerator. I noticed this problem during traffic as there were some vibes from fairing due to this.
I went to service center again yesterday to fix it but they say that the problem is with the clutch lever & york (or something) and that part is not available with them for now, they have ordered it and it will take 10 - 15 days to come.
I asked them if the clutch switch was a problem, but they said no. Oh & i cannot start my bike in gear either.

              • I am too facing a problem:

Sometimes, when I leave accelerator, the RPM gets STUCKED at 2K and comes to normal after sometime or if I flick the accelerator 2-3 times again.

What's the problem?? Is there any major issue?

looks like your throttle body is sticky. take it to PBK and ask them to clean the throttle body properly. check the throttle cable as well. lube the cable or replace it with a new one.

as noted by burnrubber , throttle body being sticky can be a reason.
second reason can be idle shooting up due to a weak battery,, sometimes the bike tends to increase its rpm to compensate and re charge the weak battery..

i was facign this problem.but it was due to wrong tuning. the air screw was meddled with. i turned it back..i don have this problem anymore..

does the RPM get stuck or does the RPM needle get stuck?

                        Both happens!

                        • It means RPM gets stuck, and as a result of that the needle gets stuck.

I initially thought that the RPM is normal and only the needle gets stuck.

Yes, the throttle being stuck is the only reason that comes to my mind.

                          • Bike completed 58K kms this morning on the way to work!

A pic from last to last Sunday's ride...

Bike is running pretty strong as of now. No major issues as of now, returning about 32-36 Kmpl, doing about 120 cruise speed with ease, vibes are in control, braking is upto the mark.

Cool.. mine has done just shy of the 30K mark.. about to complete 3 years now. Returns around 35-38 kmpl.

Sadly I am planing to sell it off.. getting a car, wife's been nagging like hell.
Will be without a bike for sometime..

Ha ha, that's only 50K more than my bike.

But congratulations on having a relatively trouble-free ride so far.
