so plz can anybody tell me which part is to dispense the old oil.
so i could pour fresh one inside...
and some tips to change it.
there will be a bolt just above the engine number plate near the tip of the clutch lever.. remove it and the oil will come out.. remember to put a big plastic container/tray below to collect the used oil.. leave it for about 15 minutes to let all the oil come down.. shake the bike so that remaining oil also comes out..
next tighten this bolt back again fully.. remove the knob on the right side from where u pour engine oil.. put 1.2L of 300v and close the knob tightly.. start the engine and let it idle for sometime..
disposing the used oil is a big headache now.. dont throw outside.. try poring it back into the same bottle and give it to a local mechanic..

the best method is, go to a local mechanic and get the job done.. he may take 20 bucks for it max..

well the mechanics told me. n also manager agreed atlast.u know claiming something under warranty isnt a FOREPLAY ...it was leaking from the very first day of purchase.they always refilled shocks for free at every sevicing.(but tht too on urging them).but when i replaced the shock they said it need to be refilled n it will charge..so the charges were only 62rs total.they kept the faulty shock.total duration to get the shock is maybe 6 months.

2600km on odo a strange "tuck tuck" sound is coming from around sprocket area....
it only sounds when i change gear and release clutch or when i accelerate suddenly....
first i thought it was chain. but it is tight enough.....
can anyone tell me what is reason behind it and how to rectify it....

                        thanks..

i have 1250 on odo..... im getting tuck tuck sound too ....i just cant identify the source .... i even put the bike on cntre stand and tried shifting gears and letting the tires spin....the sound doesnt come.. maybe it comes only when riding.... but its barely noticeable in my case.(when wearing helmet) otherwise its kinda nuisance . for me it comes whehter i accelerate or not... shift gears or ride in neutral... my chain is tight enough too....

Tell this to the pbk person. I also had this noise. Try changing your rear suspension height. It is related to chain tension only.

                            • After a gap of more than one year I sent a mail to Bajaj.

Basically its related to queries related to scopes and limits of the engine warranty. And also for some technical input regarding the engine issue I have been facing for the past 12K kms.

I hope they take this in a constructive manner and help me in resolving the issues. Bajaj has made a really good bike, its the damn service that's killing this bike and has partly put my bike in the grave.

Bajaj, if you are reading this, please use this opportunity to pull up your socks in the service department.
