I have been waiting for more than two weeks now, just for the silencer to come to pbk....... Everytime i give the guy a call he says to give a callback after 4 to 5 days....

two weeks? thats a lot of time . Are they replacing yours under warranty?

So as of now, my bike is nearing 10k and completing 2 years in July. Should i prepare myself for exhaust cracking? Should i order it in advance?

pic 1) i wanna know if the 09 model p220 come with the rear disc brake assembly without a roof ......

Pic2 ) well the tire has been polished ....the polish seems to be over done and while cornering, im not gonna say anything...... i slid a few times..... got to get rid of it... thinking of putting RiN SUpReMe and scrubbing it....PriL or any dish washing liquid is last resort....

Pc 3) Im extremely unsatisfied with the rubber like stickering and the 220 decal on the rear end..... seems to be peeling of..

pc 4) thats the front wheel on the left hand side.... is there something missing from the nut area ?? like the safety pin ....I REaLLy DonnO ...Seeing it only today...

@vid_powerstroke: I don't understand what you are looking for in the rest of the pics, but from the 3rd pic I can see that the sticker is peeling off. Just a small suggestion: DON'T use Fewi Quick-if it falls on the paint, it will corrode it. Better option would be to use cobbler's glue-golden brown in color&easily available at any cobbler's shop. No issues even if it falls on the paint, you can wipe it off with nail polish remover.

3. this is the same thing with my P220 on the lhs..... end part of r of the pulsar on the rhs got cut while washing

I am more worried about instability issues, coz with the increase in the rear height the CG will change and hence affect handling.

Secondly for a tyre thats designed to work as TT, using it as a TL is definitely a risk.

Payeng bhai, no offense meant but I remember you mentioning that with stock tyres you have slight probs with reaching the ground. Installing Sirac's means an increase in the sidewall height by 12mm so it will make it even more difficult for you!

Michelins, branded them as TT and TL. But a few ppl have used it as a TL for quite some time without any issues. But then you can never be sure! The company themselves are saying that the sidewall strength is not as like a TL and can give way on hitting potholes at highspeed.

You're lucky that it happened at 29K, just in time to get a new exhaust!

I am running my 4th exhaust for the last 12K kms now. Got it changed at 25K. This is from the newer 220's and is not showing any signs of giving up yet!

You can't prepare for it...It just happens! Happens more often to people who ride hard. But once you're ride is 2 years old and then it cracks you would have shell out 7.5K for a new exhaust.
