Look for Tribocor/3M/TVS for O Ring specific chain sprays. Else if you have the patience get SAE 90 grade gear oil and use that to apply on the chain!

EDIT: That dub dub sound comes when you are decelerating ? I might be normal sound
i will use it for time being say 100km and then get the above mentioned lubes, actually i have to travel by bus to G.P road and it takes hell of a time to reach there due to metro rail constructions(my RC book is getting name transfered)
so after that i will venture into city and get it.

yeah the sound comes only while de accelerating!!!Normal ?then i will be the happiest person in the world.
checked the tires they look as good as new. could not find any wear or even buldge will upload close up pic tomorrow.

    CONFUSED
i was mis guided while i was reading the below link

actually it looks like the same problem that i have mentioned but it was not a problem at all.

    • If that sound comes from the exhaust, its common the 220. It means the AFR is slightly lean!

Just get it tuned from PBK once.

      • ^^ you can ride your bike without lubing the O-ring chain for upto 800 KMs so you dont have to use the non-specified for O-ring lubes till you get a proper lube. also you cant judge the lube will stay only for 100 KMs it may last longer than that unless you wash it off.

On place of paying 100rs each time and getting it cleaned from SVC.
Better buy a Motul Chain Lube (500rs) + a WD40 (90rs) and this Motul can serve you easily for 15-16 lubes!
            Now count the calculation.!

Note : On xBhp, there's a very very informative thread on How To Lube Chain.
Never Ever clean the chain when the engine is ON.
Keep the keys in pocket & clean the chain wid a cloth & WD 40 while moving tyre wid another hand.

Been a silent reader for about 5yrs, reported here only when there was a query. Was enjoying the ride all this while!

No mechanical problem whatsoever with the bike, still getting rock solid performance.
Recently the speedo started showing random figures and finally came to zero and is still stuck there.
I did check the wiring for the speedo cable but it seems to be physically fine, any suggestions ?
What would be the estimated repair ?
Thats NOT neon glow under my ride you fool, thats cherenkov radiation!!!!!

WD-40 is not advisable on O-rings chains.

After long term of search over xBhp, google and in personal.
Some people will agree while other may dis-agree to WD40 question.

But in the end even I found its not harmful!
Have seen many pro mechanics also using it & some very old 220 members too !

i guess u'll have to change small gear assembly connected to front tyre which measures speed...i faced the same problem 2 months back...estimated around 400rs that includes speedometer gear, speedo cable and clips to attach cable to gear asembly.

i guess you just can't change the speedo cable..now a day they have made it separate parts.our fi has single unit speedo gear+cable.

                            • I had followed a similar thread about pro's and con's of WD 40, one international forum member even went with full on testing with the o-rings dipped in wd-40 and other lubes and a lot of load tests or something, can't find the link though. But after a lot of discussion it was reached to an agreement that the way we use the WD-40 for cleaning and then cleaning it off and using other lubes, it's not for a prolonged period, so it is quite safe. More over, i also use WD40 for cleaning and my chain is doing fine, no problems at all.

                              Cheers

Warm gear should be the culprit.
