What? Which basically means he didn't even touch the upper stub part of the bike, just placed the bolts where belong without tightening, pathetic. Just make sure they get their dose, as long as they don't push vehicles just for the sake to push them, these practices definitely will pop up somewhere or other. But if you happen to get a chance to whip their arse out, I'd suggest you take that opportunity.

    The girl said, 'NO!'

    • Yo !

Still need to change the Low-Beam bulb, well its not working from a month now.

Does it requires to open the Fairing ? (As said by the mechanic)
290rs for the Stock bulb and 250 something for labour. LoL ?

Anyone with the CBR or CBR type Mud-Flap (Chain cover attached to it) on the rear ?

I wanted to do it. I've seen a pic of someone on facebook with Monoshock + CBR's Chain Cover (Mud-flap).
But no idea about stock shockers.
Saves bikes a lot from Mud & other sitt.

Without opening the fairing, it's next to impossible.

Just a thought. If you remove the tank . You get more than enougj space to play around the inside of the fairing. And removing rhe tank is hardly a 2min job

I know there must be some alternative coz opening the whole fairing again just fro a bulb is like O_O
And they take 550rs for opening fairing & re-fitting it.
But for bulb they said 250rs.

Yes the bulb costs the same. Go for Philips Xtreme Vision if you want more good light throw, just a thought.

@Krish, It can be adjusted buddy but not replaced, but takes really skillful hands to do it, I mean real skillful hands. But opening the tank is more or less a viable option instead of opening the entire fairing. But it just takes three more bolts than a single tank bolt, and moreover, as rx.100 said it's more or less impossible for most of them to change with just the tank removed.

              Cheers!

I had ample enoghcspace to play around when i removed the tank. Thats the reason i suggested this.

Ah.stil iguess it should be enough...removing fairing is always cumbersome....moreover.like i said i found removing tank more east tocreach inside pats of fairing..

What would be the estimated repair ?

220's speedo cable is different than other Pulsars, having few more parts along with it. So I guess its gear+cable. I had to search quite few showrooms for the cable when the speedo reading went 0 after some random figures. Don't remember the cost as I did it under warranty. Also, the reading shows random figs if water enters the console. The reset button of my bike's console was lost long back, was covered by black tape since then. But after my last wash, the display had low oil sign on, some random speed readings, sometimes correct, sometimes anything from 0 to 199. The neutral light was on always and when the left indicator was switched on, the indicator light and neutral light would glow consecutively. Had to open up the console and dry!

No mechanical problem whatsoever with the bike, still getting rock solid performance.

My friends fi had the same problem it used to reach 199kmph even in 1st gear so had to change the sensor and cable as they were a single unit unlike dtsi as others mentioned and yes evem he had paid about 400rs for that

                    @all
what speed does fi reach @4rpm in 5th gear ,wanted to know because friend changed his clutch plates and It was just reaching abt 55-56kmph I was like bro Mech has placed some old plate in your bike ,later after xbhping came to know that it has different sprocket but couldn't get the exact figures,
also his engine breaking works for only about 20% compared to other bikes and his bike literally vibrates like a tractor
(odo reading 29k km ,new bore @19k km)

Problem with the port of the diagnostic device. I had a similar issue earlier.

A bit sleepy but I tried spelling the word 3-4 times then copied & pasted to Google to get the meaning.
                            And Google said "Enough Space".
I thought you used some very different word out of my bad vocabulary.

If its super bald it might show lesser than normal speed/rpm figures since it will get a bit shorter geared.

BTW why did you get a new bore at 19K

Did you put something other than petrol in the tank?
