And NO, no new bike(s) (if any) shows these kind of tantrums. I cannot even imagine you removing the petrol pipe from time to time just to get the bike started. What is this? Some joke!?

I would seriously suggest you to take it back to the showroom from where you bought it and demand that the problem be solved, and permanently at that.

Yes aryan ur 100% correct... what the damn hell are those people thinks... we spend 65-70 thousand rupees for our bikes and if i were in ur place those suzuki people won't live that day for sure... if their work is not satisfactory just post a letter to suzuki head office for that...

^^^ if it had so much pressure, you could have filled in your tyres with that... free of cost

I wish the problem ends here and you would be a happy owner of this bike... after all, you went through some research in choosing this bike and it hurts when such a decision fails

enjoy ur ride.

Though GS150R's engine felt smooth initially, spending time with Unicorn made me realize that Honda was still the smoothest package of the lot. The GS150R further disappointed me when I could distinctively hear the sound of valve clutter and a slight knocking from the engine. These sounds get amplified in higher revs and vibes kick in after the 7,000 rmp mark. However they are lesser than one would experience on a similar capacity Pulsar.
I won't believe this, unless some owner proves it, not any (biased) review.. I didn't experience this on my test ride.
Oh man complete bullshit, who has written this, ...."hear the sound of valve clutter"...give me a break.....and knocking.....u gotta be kidding me.....man these statements sre nothing but a complete misslead......ask any one who owns this bike or has taken a good test ride....gordon is one of them vouching......seriously plz..... total crap....man total crap....

2 hrs after gettin it delivered it jus stopped in between wit sounds as if its comin in reserve.. put it in reserve n then i tried startin it(kick/self), but nothin hapnd.. tried choke, still nothin hapnd..
pushed it for 2 kms to drop at my frens place.. mornin the szuzuki pple sent their mechanic who started it in few mins, sayin the air bubbles were troublin.. i thot mayb now its done..
went to office.. while startin frm office at nit, it again stopped in betwen.. the same thing.. it jus wont start.. did everythin i could.. n then i put on the choke, waited fr 5 mins.. started.. it worked..
mornin the mechanic told me- if the same thing hapens, remove the petrol tube for some tim and put it back, to remove air bubbles.. bt as its my first exp wit my own bike i dint dare to do tht..
jus want to kno whether its normal for a new vehicle to screw its owner this way???? some remedy?? some experiences?

@nawab - i liked black more.. nywys i had red shoes, so thot the orange color of bik wont go wit them :P
@alkemyst....What are you talking about man.......take it back to the showrooma dn demand an immimdiate investigation, infact you should have demanded an another piece....after all it was just 2 hrs man.......airbubbles?????what the heck even if there is a such a problem I still would not content myself with just a mechanic coming and setting things right......go back to the showroom and demand a replacement or a complete investigation and sooner the better....

cool that you dont have kick problem...I think then it should be just a tuning problem, will try to get this fixed tomorrow....and yes I use choke while doing a cold start, till now it never has been a one kick start......

I dont think its an "issue" the engine sound does change as it warms up when we increase speed. I think its perfectly normal............BTW congratts on your new bike.........care to share some snaps.....

and rest of the people as well why are we not seeing any snaps for all the GSRs on this thread

I'm one of the proud owner of this bike in Bhubaneswar. When i visited to purchase this bike, at first glance toe shifter looks to high for shifting gear, but it's fine. They didn't give test ride because the odometer is directly connected to engine and can't be reset. At first, while riding the bike handlebar feels too high like you are sitting on chopper bike. It felt little uncomfortable at starting but it is boon of the bike. Bike is heavy in comparison of all other bike in 150CC category but high handlebar helps turning comfortablly.I was riding first 10 days in economy mode thinking that eco and pwr mode are just light blinking thing but yesterday I changed into Power mode and bike reaction is totally changed the pick up,gear shifting all has been changed. The 'Drive me crazy' quatation is accomplished.
