Initially, i was a bit confused about the colour.. but boy, am i glad i chose blue! The photos do not do it justice.. it looks spectacular, especially at night..

Ride quality's top notch.. (i haven't ridden the unicorn yet, so i cant compare yet..) Gears are a bit hard right now, but going by several user experiences here, i'm expecting it to get better after a few kms..

Thanks a lot to everybody here for their valuable posts..

Congratulations on the new ride.

Like you have already mentioned it will take some time for the engine to settle down.

Congratulations once again & ride safe.

Here's a breakup of the charges:

Cost of bike : 68308/-
Smart Card : 250/-
No. Plate : 113/-
RTO : 130/-
Affidavit (Company letter for address proof) : 250/-

Total : 69051/-

Will be getting 1000/- off for lump sum payment. Didn't get any further discount since it's a 2010 model. Dealer said free accessories/discounts are available only for 2009 models.

Congrats on your new bike mate.

How long did they take to deliver your bike?

It's been 8 days since I booked my bike, Jains Suzuki is saying the bike has not yet arrived, since it is a 2010 model it might take time.

I booked it on a thursday evening, and the bike arrived on friday itself.. Registration took another day, so i got my bike on monday. (Saturday is a holiday for the RTO).

Dealers get fresh stock only after they exhaust their existing supplies.. so unless they sell off the 2009 models, they wont be getting 2010 ones..

I'd enquired at another showroom closer to my place, but they said i'd hv to wait till march for the 2010 model..

Hi All,
This is my first post on xbhp. I have been lurking around in the forums as a guest for long time. Reason for posting in this thread is that i have recently booked a Suzuki GS150R black colour.
I have seen that many people still are complaining about the rusted tank. Does it still persist and where ?? Mouth of the tank ???
I am told that mine will be the 2010 model, really not sure if it is any different from 2009 one :S

Btw, i already own a Honda Unicorn 2007 model and am using it for my commuting in Pune. This bike (suzuki) will be used in Mumbai
The bike cost me 66.5k on road in Mumbai with few free accessories thrown in like Helmet (should be a simple basic one), number plates (????), seat cover, grip cover, parking cover, signal light buzzer, teflon coating, radium stickers.

I am not buying the bike through the suzuki outlet but through an auto agency. The suzuki showroom gave me the on road price of 69k :S

Default About Firing

Dear Friends,
i have completed 1700 kms so far. i confused about firing sound of GS150r.
if you compare with Unicorn the firing sound is very high, but with others it's normal.
whether GS150r makes sound while firing? or should i do anything?
while it's first service i asked the service man, he said that there is a huge difference between unicorn and GS150r.
can anyone of GS150r users clear me about firing???
