Went to the showroom again today to select my bike (2010 model) and gave the photos and address proof for RTO purpose.

Selected one black beauty . But the Orange one almost made me change my mind, it was really stunning, but I was apprehensive about the durability of lighter colors.

The bike looks awesome and huge in real, the pictures doesn't do justice to the bike.

Will receive the bike tomorrow evening or Friday morning.

Thanks for the reply Mate,

I will be giving my ride for the 4th service in a couple of days.. will clarify with the SC guy about any other changes other than the rear brake springs and batteries. Anyway the GS is a masterpiece and so there isn't any need for changes. Everything is just the way it should be..

Congratulations for becoming a GSpian. I was also confused with the Orange and Black and finally fell for the black (less chance of fading). Anyway good luck with ur purchase and thanks again...

Hello All,
On my third service at Swargate Pune, I changed my regulator to the new one ....got it replaced under warranty..the headlight has drastically improved just by changing the R & R unit.....please note that the new R & R unit has "BA" as the last part of the device code..(older ones have AA)..... I am hunting for the Osram Siverstar bulb in Pune and Mumbai without any success....If anyone has an idea where to find pls PM me or post a reply........ I have filled Nitrogen in both tires and the ride quality is very good but the pick has reduced a little.
Also i have a noticed a issue with my fuel indicator .....it is just blinking even though there is around 5 liters of petrol.....Don't know if my console is faulty or the fuel gauge inside the tank. If anyone has any info pls share.

I did a tank full mileage test as SC told me, really it will test ur and petrol bunk guy patience,It consume 20.5ltr first time that too after filling it go down , down down, finally 20.5 it comes to brim level. After riding for 222 km again i went to fill to tank full, this time it take some time to fill for 4.21ltr say 5 minutes. So my milage is 222/4.21 =52.7kmpl.

Thanks,

In my opinion the best option would be a grey one, it looks classy and does show all curves in her body. Blue colour may look childish ( mine is blue)

Guys, has anyone purchased engine guard for GS? If so, can you post pictures for it.
The Showroom guys told me it will cost around 200 bucks, but it is really not needed as the engine is vertically mounted. But there was no stock when I went there.
