Dude, please read around Xbhp, before posting. Unicorn taught us that, Real Performance is not ONLY about BHP's & CC's....

If you have anything to say, say that clearly with proper and concise pointers to support your claim. Do not just post any crap here. Please.

From which angle you can find a problem in Unicorn?..Do you think Honda is not using any Japanese technology in there Indian bikes?...You wrong brother. But I never say Suzuki is making craps in there Indian MFplants perhaps we know that truth ..(sorry)

Hello Guys,

Just Registered on X-Bhp. I booked a Metallic Grey GS150R a couple of days ago. So, i guess i am Owner No. 14. Will be taking the Delivery on Tuesday. Can't wait to lay my hands on it.

I sold off my reliable HH Ambi 135 as i wanted to upgrade my Bike. Had 2 Choices, Unicorn and GS150R. GS150R was actually not even in the Picture before, as Suzuki Bikes were not that popular as the HH, Honda, Babjaj, etc.
Took a Test Drive of both the Bikes. Just loved the looks and feel of the GS. Engine is pretty smooth and the Digital Console is SWEET. Much better that the Plain Jane looks of Unicorn without any Goodies.
My Dealer Experience was also better with Suzuki.
When i took a Test Ride of Unicorn, i was given a 3+ Yrs. Old Bike. Can you beat that...
It had hard gear shifts and was giving jerks while accelerating. Anyways, i know Unicorn is much better than that.
One more factor towards GSR was that i wanted a tool-heel Gear Shifter as i was not very comfortable of the only Toe Shifter of Unicorn.
The Total On-Road Cost in Pune came to 67,500/- inclusive of all accessories and complementary Teflon Coating.
I thought a lot before deciding to take the plunge for a Suzuki Bike as compared to the tested Reliable Honda Unicorn. Also, A.S.S. of Suzuki is also nothing to boast about.
I guess same goes for Honda. But decided to take the Risk as i loved the GSR. Hope it pays off.

After reading through the Ownership Reviews here, i feel i have made a good choice though am a bot concerned about the Rusting Issue that has surfaced with some Users.

I had a Query though it might seem silly to you guys.

Does the Digital Speedo Console have any Impact of Bad weather like Rain? Are there any chances of Damage or Malfunction?

Do post your suggestions and comments.

Thanks,
Abhishek.

FYI Honda and Suzuki both are Japanese companies.

Please throw some light on petrol lamp rusting and braking issues on this bike.

I don't have a problem in buying this bike, if this can be solved by service guys. Otherwise need to think.

Bro, let us just ignore such messages, as ShadowFax rightly told us ...

Move the discussion with GS, a great bike I might add...

Bro, firstly congratulations for owning the GS 150R. Nice Choice.

& Rain should not affect the console at all. At most, it may malfunction for 1-2 days.

I have used some "assumed to be unreliable" bikes, which had digi consoles, and never faced a problem for more than 1 day.

When they make a bike for India, it has to be ridable in rain too, without any problems.
