DO u have any idea of price of 2010 bore and piston????
Well the 2010 models are not so old enough to ascertain or rule out the fact whether these problems would crop up eventually or not.........but I pray that they don't........its damn irritating then

No brother I have no idea of what the bore and pistons of 2010 models cost. But I will enquire the next time I visit the SVC.

Reg the mileage: followed mach50 instructions and did tuned the idle to be at 1000 during cold start and on warm it is btwn 1400 to 1200 rpm

My gs golden screw is 3.25 anticlockwise from close position

Yes at last confirmed it by checking the spark plug.

Manu I tried to reach you on last saturday but you didn't picked the call.

Well, i have a 2009 model GS, (august 2009)
And i test rode the 2010 GS150 few weeks back..

They both are exactly the same actually.
Since the bike was brand new i only went upto 4.5k rpm.
The gears, the pick up, the clutch play, and the engine sound were more or less the same..

But i rode it only for 2kms so cant say if that engine sound increases after engine heats up..

Question Help pls- Doubts

1)

I have a small problem with gear shifting pattern in my new bike. Upshifting is very easy and smooth! Downshifting Iam getting as 6,5,4,3,2 then next downshift gives 0 instead of 1. Is it normal or is there any technique to get 1 during downshift from 2nd gear. Please someone explain in detail since Iam quite new to gear patterns

2)Have anyone used Helmet Lock under Seat, How to use it manual is not clearly giving techniues. Do we need an interface or extra thing between helmet and helmet holder to hold the helmet???

Arey dost, try to shift once more after the neutral or 0gear,you will reach the first gear.

Its 1-down,5-up gearshift pattern.
The first gear is below neutral. So you have to shift twice in transitions form 1st gear to 2nd or 2nd to first............you will get used to it with time. Then you will see,you are finding the first gear in one go only

No,theres nothing in between provided by the company to cushion the helmet hold.Problem is I find the Helmet holders useless,as they cant be used during the ride and on parking, the helmet would only be attached by straps.Any thief can cut the straps and make away with a costly helmet.

Acchaa Hmmm! As i thought! Then 2 transitions got it, previously thought that I can get it in a single transition(from 2 to 1 but N is in middle).

What about Helmet lock under seat yaar?

I see! So helmet holders is of no use

. So any solution to helmet holding problem while parking??? I dont want helmet holder at rear near tail light spoiling my bike's finish

And I can drive only from 20 to 30 in my heavy traffic area, will it affect the mileage. Before one day only I got bike delivered

40-50 is difficult in T.nagar,Chennai. Any alternative solutions to go at 20-30 without damaging mileage?

Guys how do you come to know about free service camps i am in Delhi i think they are conducting free service camps but no info on that at all.

Also now i am really started to getting some serious sounds from my Gs. Too much noise it sounds like as if a grinder is running below me. To top that suzuki website is not working can't complain to them at all,I am thinking of contacting their office directly but i think that might not work.
