Apple Auto offered me price of around 68700 without any extra accessories like seat cover, teflon coating etc. Lemmi check with other showrooms in bangalore.... but might end up with Apple itself as its nearest to my home

Default cost in bangalore

68603 at aerolex motors, kh road (without any seat cover, teflon coating etc...)
I had purchased a black one on 18 April.

Its 68750 approx at the showroom on old airport road...It did not have a black one last month hence i bought it at aerolex..

BTW, tomorrow is my bike's first service (825 km so far)

very disappointed with the rear drum brake and the headlight.

My fuel tank moves/shakes a bit. Noticed it while refueling at the petrol pump. Anyone faced a similar issue?

Even I felt brakes are not upto the mark (like pulsar/ i own one currently) when i did test ride.. but one has to use effectively the front and rear brakes for proper stopping...

Cant comment about headlight as i have never seen that... but change the bulb to original philips which will give you much brighter light... i had one in my fiero F2 really amazing headlight.

mean while please anybody post snap of GS headlights(switched on)... specially the parking lights...

All fuel tanks shakes, as they are fixed with rubber dampers and are not welded directly to the frame.. so its common.. but if it shakes/moves a lot then the issue... get it checked

Had my first test ride of the GS150R today. It was a short ride. a friend was interested in the bike and i accompanied him. I went solo and these are my observations. These come from a TVS Apache and RTR fi owner.

- Excellent Build quality. The tank looks and feels great.

- Easily the best instrument console on the Indian bikes today. The start up graphics are superb. The placement of the indicator blinkers on teh console is funky. Couldnt figure out the dual mode thingy.

- Neat switch gear and grips. Comfortable handle bar.

-Seating position is extremely comfortable.

- Looks good. Side profile is the best view. The LED tail lamps look fab. The rear is of course marred by that 100/90 tyre which makes it look too thin. Also all doubts of it being too conventional and common is blown away.

-The engine felt a tad underpowered. Maybe the weight is the culprit.

-The gear shift is excellent and the way the engine pulls from very low speed on the 6 th gear is definitely noteworthy. No hiccups whatsoever.

-It felt very stable under heavy braking. I felt the brakes to be better than the Pulsar 150 and Unicorn. It is still not as good as the classic Apache which has a similar disc diameter.

-Headlights are on par.

-Nice exhaust note.

My conclusion as told to my friend is - If you looking at complete no nonsense biking with some added goodies, then the GS is for you. The uni just does not cut it anymore.

Default headlight adjustment

In the manual i am finding a section which shows how to adjust headlight beam vertically using a screw. The problem is the pic given in the manual, is not clear enough for me to understand.
So can any1 of GS owners tell me where this screw is actually located? A pic will be most welcome.

There was a thread earlier about the Motoman run-in method. I believe the manual method&follow it strictly. The Motoman run-in method could be good for higher capacity bikes.
