My dad owns a Suzuki zues which most people look down. That bike performs excellent in highway and my dad (who is not after performance, power, and looks) is just more that satisfied. I dont know if this motivated me to get this bike; but I'm really impressed by GS
GS is less smoother than uni by all means!!!!!!!
zeus and heat both are good bikes by suzuki........
people are quite satisfied with them

someone asked that isint it rare to see GS... mean seen very less on streets...... but i am starting to see them..... quite less in no( one everyday ) but its starting to sell FINALLY
i saw one in a bad color didnt like it.....
but today saw one in black on side stand........ it looks sexy man!!!!

man o man,,,,,,,, if only suzuki could remove some roughness of GS and make it a bit lighter and make brakes more nice,,,,, and prolly add monoshocks............ lol
ignoring the last thing......... this would have been an unbelievable bike man....... if it wud have costed some 5k more also for this thingies
( including monoshocks )
i wud go out n pay.............

what r u GS owners gonna do when suzuki stops producing the bike and its parts? Sorry to ask a question like this but i have seen only 3-4 GS bikes till now in bhubaneswar. And from other's posts, it seems that the bike isnt selling atall...
So, most probably suzuki is gonna stop its production.

honda was selling 40k units of eterno per year..... still they stopped its production coz it didnt meet their expectations
activa and unicorn are sold in lakhs per years

now among the three zuki bikes....... zeus and heat are selling!!!
but GS is just started,,,,, i have seen 4 bikes till now
saw 2 in last two days!!
and wud u believe
its one of the biggest dealers here,,,,,,,, in quite a large area
course there wud be smaller dealers also,,,,,,, who wud get it distributed from the big guy

and the asst manager told me that they sold nearly 50 units in my surrounding
but i ve seen only 4

so if it does not meet their expectations..... and they think that it was not their fault,,,, everything was rite
then production will stop
otherwise they may come out with an upgrade,,,,,,,,
zuki are not a company acc to me who will give up so easy.,,,,,
so let the owners enjoy n stop worrying about its fate

@joy_tilak: Whenever any company launches a new product, they are bound to give the customers spares&service support for atleast 15 years. So, GS owners can be in peace. I am also using a TVS Fiero F2 since the last 5 years, its production stopped a couple of years back. I am still getting all the spares&service backup, no difference even though production has stopped.

The intensity of roughness is getting low, more I ride at variable speeds. The engine parts of new bike are I think hard. I mean when they rub & touch each other, we feel its rough. They need to get polish & mate with each other. So after riding more by strictly following break-in instructions, parts will get soft or polished and that roughness will be gone as in case with Alkemyst. A newbie won't even notice it. And dude, when I say roughness, I don't mean earthquake...!!! How can it be uncontrollable or shake?? ????
If u ever come to Pune in "Peth" areas, u will now its even difficult to ride cycle or walk. Its headache bcos of the ppl and bad roads, not bcos bike is heavy.

I am in some confusion of colors. I am planning to buy GS150R very soon, but unsure as to which color to go for. Orange looks good, but I saw one faded orange GS in front of Swargate suzuki, and frankly I was shocked!

Other color in my list is Blue green. This color looks good. Not as loud as attractive as orange, but certainly seems different. WHich color would you prefer in these two (Strictly no black or gray please).

My favorite is the Grey, but since you have ruled it out, I would suggest the Orange, as touching up the Blue Green could become an issue due to double color. Face it, this is India&vehicles are very prone to scratches. Orange would be much easier to touchup.
Yes, Orange&red are more prone to fading when exposed to sunlight continuously compared to darker colors, but this can be avoided by regular polishing&cleaning. I suggest you get a teflon coat asap&continue coating it every 4-5 months. Don't park it too much in the sun&you should be fine.

@animeher
I own an Orange one. Green also looks gr8. I'm not for the Blue.
sorry I meant the Gray and not green.

@shadowFax
A trip meter is just to know how far the bike has travelled for a ride. It can be reset for different rides. There are 2 trip meters A and B. Somewhere i have read that we can use one between fuelling and the other for rides. But Its all your choice; you could very well use both for different kinds of trips

I dont think the ODO can be reset.

In my bike, I use one tripmeter when I tank up&the other when it comes into reserve, since the R15's creates a reserve meter which comes into reserve automatically&it is not at all accurate (disappears sometimes when the bike is tilted/switched off) so I don't rely on it&use the 2nd tripmeter instead.
For long rides also I use the 2nd tripmeter.

ODO = Trip A + Trip B ????

How is the convenience increased by Trip A & B ???
