Thumbs up [Official]: Avenger 220 launched!! Pics on Page 4

One of my friend went to buy Avenger. Got to know that.. Bajaj Probiking has stopped taking further bookings of Avenger.

Then as per my discussion with Probiking people in Pune, Avenger is getting bigger heart.. that will be borrowed from P220. The looks of the bike are going to remain same.. But is going to get the DC eletricals.

The bookings start by the end of this month. And bike should be out by middle of next month.

Avenger 200 will be phased out.

Edit: The pics are here. more details on page 3

The news is official guys. Our contacts in Bajaj just confirmed the news. The new bike is going to have a bigger 220 cc mill and the production has already been started. The first lot of the new Bajaj Avenger should be out 'pretty' soon, we expect it to be with 3-4 days.

Also there are reports that the bike will have some more modification making it "more suitable for riding in the hills." The first thing that comes to the mind is better torque and better ground clearance. Not exactly sure though. Fingers crossed.

Topic approved.

More details are awaited, we will update as soon as we get them.

Hah ! I don't know if to feel happy or sad, I was on verge of buying the 200cc two months back but changed my mind to buy a street/commuter bike, Dazzler.

This would be bad news for two my friends who bought the 200cc last month, let me go tease them hehe

Great News!
I hope "more suitable for riding in the hills" isnt limited ONLY to low end torque...

'Looks of the older version have been retained'

Its the same old looks as the Avenger 200 as well as the colors are also same.
Good part is the inclusion of all DC electricals...

I was going to write, "Stop promoting your blog" and then saw something strange....

When did this happen?

Edit:
"more suitable for riding in the hills."
Same Looks - Duh!
Same Colours - Duh!
Perf figures as compared with P220!
19.3 Horse vs 21PS on P220 - Duh!
17.2 NM@7000RPM vs 19.12@ 7000 RPM - Duh!

DC Electricals - Good!
