bookings have started, the bike will be 3-4,000 rupees costlier than the earlier one. no change in styling confirmed. Will hit the showrooms for display by next week in Delhi & NCR.

4 Valve would be great but that would increase cost even more.

But 6 gears aren't needed. As we know cruisers are already heavy, so overgearing might not always suit them.
Secondly, even close ratios won't be suitable as they're mainly for race bikes/ replicas.
Gear changing would be even more with a 6 speed box. So, 5 speed is fine for Avenger.

And the default P220 gearbox is already well geared. You can do 50 in 5th @ just 3000 rpm.

However, I think P220 could use both these technology - 4 valve and 6 speed gearbox.

lol looks like someone in Bajaj is reading the comments and probably hates me by now!

The excel spreadsheet grab looks awry... (needs column and row resize!)
and BTW How many of these features are 'new' in A220?

PS: Like my signature says, your biggest critic is probably your biggest fan!

Edit: Are they using the same tyres?
                                (Ironically I am riding a Avenger180 today!)
