That's the pipe running from the oil cooler to the engine. Not sure if it is movable though.

i dont know about you guys, but for me the avenger was always the best looking bike that could come from bajaj. ( thanks to kawasaki ), and im actually happy that they have not messed up the looks.

From reducing the front fork length, and rake angle from the original eliminator, the handling had already been changed in interest of better city handling, but i feel that this might actually be the first bajaj i buy!

Will wait for the bike to hit the showroom to take a test.

Hmmm... Even the review by BikeIndia talks about the old 200 cc.

^^ i have ridden the 200, yes it handles better than the eliminator, but the whirr of the dtsi engine, and the slightly closer to rider position of footrests ( to make it more suitable to the indian avg height maybe ), kinda killed it for me. But for the comfort of the front seat, the straight handlebars and the low slung feel, yes i might buy this one.

The extra power helps under cruising/overtaking, dunno if they have modified the sprockets to account for the extra power, if that is so, the top speed can be expected to have a good bump.

btw i just called up the probiking showroom in gurgaon, the bike is expected in another 10-14 days.

On road price of the 200 avenger is 70,300 here. So im expecting this to be around 74-75k on-road.

The kerb weight is declared to be the same in both bikes. 154.5 kgs.

                    Hi,
I have bought the avenger 220cc , just got the bike delivered 2 days ago.It is almost similar to that of the avenger 200 version , except it comes with a 220cc engine, a battery indicator, a bigger oil cooler and an increase in cost of about 3.5k

^^ sweet, what color? and post some pics if possible. Any idea of the power delivery difference between the 220 and the 200??

BTW, where you located that you got it so quickly? Pune?

Hi jd666 , i m from Belgaum ,Karnataka , but i guess the dealer here gets the bike from Pune or Ahemdabad , dunno exactly.

About the power delivery , at the initial stages it feels quite similar to that of 200cc , but i had a ride of the 200cc version long back , so for now it feels nearly the same,if possible ll check it out again.
The Colour is Black and i have attached 2 pics of it.

@Puneet.....Bro...why not go for the windshield??.., I have ridden an avenger and somehow I wasn't comfortable with the wind blast at speeds above 80 at all, on open roads where one is supposed to cruise at 90-100...this might be quite a bother......Just a personal opinion though...

EDIT: Is the windshield optional? or you got it removed?

For now i m riding max at 50kmph which is a quite comfortable speed as the engine runs the smoothest at that speed ,about the top speed i still have to complete 750+ kms to check it

Well the windshield is still an optional accessory and quite costly too, 2k+ i think Even i like the shield but i ride most of the time through the city so i dont feel its necessary, anyways ll get that too after some days
