Another 125cc bike?

I do not understand the Honda's strategy.

Honda, "WE NEED A 250cc BIKE and not a 125CC agian."

This seems genuine enough although the source is a blog.

Here is the quote from that source.

Honda will soon unleash its superbikes its superbikes following Yamaha,Ducati and Suzuki. You can expect the CBR1000RR soon in your nearby showrooms (if you are in metros). Honda General Manager Marketing N K Rattan said “We will launch two models in super bike category with 800-1000 cc engines in this fiscal. Apart from this, we will also bring a new model in the mass market category before March next year.” For the big-bike business, the company will set up exclusive stores in the four metros initially. “To start with, we will establish our showrooms in the metros. Later on we will expand taking into account serviceability and other issues,” he said.

Honda’s another 125cc+ bike

Honda will also augement its mass market bikes with the launch of new 125cc+ bike soon. Both the superbikes and the new 125cc bike will be launched before March 2009.

I'm sure Honda will bring a new 125 for sure. During the Honda race at MMSC, they took a lot of feedback and interviews from us, the riders.

CBR 150 is coming for sure. But the 125 will be interesting.

The news actually says '125+ cc'; This may mean above 125 cc, which could very well be a 150cc. But, why to say 125+, instead of 150??

I'm smelling the CBR125 here. They we were keen on marketting the 125cc bike and then the CBR150. They wanted to know what was lacking in the CBF stunner...I said everything!

. That damn bike had no top-speed at all, feels like a dud. Its too tall and the gearshift is another big disaster. Feels hopelessly spongy and negative.

CBR's would be good but I just hope they don't do the regular cheeky stuff by launching another bike on the same Shine's engine

nice though, but the pricing is important

many people considering paying 1lakh + for a 150cc bike madness, i wonder what they'll say for a 125cc bike :P
