CB1000R - Approximate onroad price !!!
Folks,
I did a simple Math to find the ON-ROAD price.
So here it is,
Actual Bike Cost 450000
110% Duty 495000
Road Tax @13% 58500
Insurance @4% 18000
On Road Price 1021500
Wow, thats 10,21,500/-
This is tentative could be couple of thousands + or -
Note:
1) Road Tax/Insurance, reference to Bangalore (Approximate)
2) Road Tax is on the BIKE COST, 110% duty is not included.
It should be much lesser in DELHI.

- Honda Fireblade 2008-09 Model Launched: 12.50 Lacs ex-showroom
- Honda CB1000R launched around 9.5lacs ex-showroom
- Both bikes will be available in the Indian market in March 2009

^^ I love MT 01, I might even buy it if I have the money, simply for that huge and beautiful v-twin engine in its frame It has got a great road presence too!
But the only thing is the CB1000R, though cannot be compared with the MT 01 just because they have different type of engines, will be more easy to ride and handle than the Yamaha, its lighter and comes with a very attractive styling and Honda smoothness
Anyhow, I wud buy any of these if i'll have enough money......heheheComment
