  • Great!!

The Fireblade is finally here, its biggest icon in 4-stroke inline 4s I think the pricing is absolutely fine, 12.5 for 1000rr.... '08 r1 sells for 11.16, now the new r1 is priced a bit higher & we can expect it to touch 12 wen it replaces the 08 model.

CB1000R is one of the finest naked bike in the market today, I'm glad it made it here.. I somehow feel that instead of MT-01, Yamaha should have launch FZ1 or maybe both of them.

I have just as much news about FZ1 launch, as MG has about the Ninja 250

Beats me.. Not sure what Honda is upto. And they've not included Bangalore in the first phase of the launch! One of the biggest markets for such bikes.. what a miss! And I see Calcutta in the first phase No offence to Calcutta or its people, but this defies logic.

          even the busa is 12.5!
When the R1 was launched, (Dec 2007) it wasn't old. It was launched at 10.5, so I have to say that your theory does not hold good.

Busa is a different category altogether. Can't compare the prices of a Busa and the litre bikes. There are obvious reasons why the Busa has a higher price.

May be their view of 4 metros is -Kolkota and +Bangalore...! otherwise it is a serious mistake from Honda.

                          • Launch of the BIG HONDAS

The launch happened today at the Taj Palace Hotel, Dhaula Kuan. As most of you guys already know, the two bikes launched are the 1000RR and the CB1000R. I was unfortunately not present at the launch site.

Gurinder OSAN, an esteemed photographer of AP (Associated Press) agreed to share a couple of photographs that he had clicked with me and thus with xBhp. A huge thanks to him for this gesture.

I am sure that Shailay will do the rest and add on more photographs.

The CB 1000R is the bike for me!

                                Thanks Aryan.

Yes the CB is a great looker and a terrific bike. And for 9.5, it can easily be one's first "big" bike and one's last bike as well, since it will satisfy almost everything that you wanna do barring the fairing, which will eventually prevent you doing 150+ speeds constantly.

Your call guys. Something is better than nothing. The CB has a good chance of taking on the market and doing what the V-twin Yam failed to do in India! But then, I am only speculating. Let us not start a war here.
