      Indians are getting heavier and more aspirational even in an economic downturn. 110cc's do not satisfy their requirements anymore. I think Honda and others have come to grips with this reality and had to change plans which looked perfectly alright around 3 years ago.

        Most of us on the fourm are enthusiasts and we will not satisfy with less cc's. But, we constitute very very minor percentage out of the toal market. The commuting market out there is very huge and this 110 cc bike will gonna sell well and this bike will add variety to the commuting market.

          Guys, This time Apna Vicky is Correct! Yahoo!! Now, there is an OFFICIAL update :-->

          Main Points:-->

          Launching the CBR1000RR and the CB1000R on February 27th 2009.
          Starting with 4 METRO cities,
          CBR1000RR is expected to be priced around 12 lakhs (ex-showroom) & CB 1000R around 10 Lacs ex showroom.
          That means about 14 Lacs on road for CBR. At this price, both R1 & Hayabusa are better "Overall" options I feel.

          Source of Info: Make way for the CBR1000RR and CB1000R

                  I would have gone to cover the event proudly, if only I had got this news a little early. Am at work right now, already! Damn!

                  Not sure whether someone from xBhp would be there to cover the launch or not.

                      I doubt, because Sunny & Old Fox are out on GIR-II (who most probably would have covered the press launch event). I am at work, unfortunately. And MG, sadly, is not in Delhi.

                      I don't know who else would be able to attend the launch.
                      :)

                                The busa and intruder are 12.5

                                that makes the cb1000r so much more desirable : a perfect monster
