Okay guys, can we take the 'blue pill' and cut short this discussion which up until now was informative, but it's kind of getting out of hand now.

    Please.

Yes it is. And as Joel said before in earlier posts, FI doesn't necessarily mean faster. Race Carbs with proper compression ratios and CDI mapping, the bike will be a rocket.

It has already been discussed in Xbhp before.

@Joel: Yes, you were right in the power figures. In fact it's 18.98 PS at 10.5K RPM. Thats madly revvy engine. What a hoot it will be if it comes in the same state of tune. I know people will be complaining about the fuel tank capacity though. "10 liters?? arrey *** has more than theees...."

Fi does not mean power. Carb engines are more aggressive. FI systems are to strike a balance of emission, power delivery and consistency. Also it again depends on the state of tune of the FI system. It could be set conservative or radical. I prefer carbs anyday. The CBR150 is a dream to play with.

Joel, does CBR150 have vibrations at higher rpms than R15?? Does short-stroke engines cannot be made vibration free??

I'm wondering who started this vibration story here. The CBR is very much rideable and no vibes as such. Will feel something like the old Fiero. There is that grunt thru the revs.

I feel the 800cc bike coming is the VFR Interceptor, coz thats the only one that comes close to 800cc.
As for the 125cc+bike, it could also be a scooter, as they would want to compete with Suzuki's Access125.
CBR will surely be coming to India, but they're keeping it under wraps. They may unveil a new 2009 model CBR coz this one looks dated.
I also hope for the CBR150!

I don't think so-pretty happy with my R15 as of now! But it would be fun to have some competition in the same segment though!

The Fireblade that has won litre class shootouts the world over and looks like its been headbutted is a new for 2008 model man

Then how on earth can one call the Blade dated i wonder

Also.. The 2009 CBR1000RR Fireblade is unchanged except for the availability of Honda's C-ABS system i.e Combined ABS as an option...

Hey, I was referring to the CBR 150 man! That one looks dated&doesn't even have the PGM-Fi system which is becoming a standard on all Honda Motorcycles worldwide! No comments on the Blade even by mistake!

I wouldn't give a damn about the looks and FI as long as it provides the kicks. And with a carb on,it would be easier to tweak.
