The Fireblade is being launched between the 25th-27th of this month in Delhi (India launch). They will have a soft launch (whatever this means) in Bombay in the 1st week of March. Bookings start after the Delhi launch.
I was told all the colours sold around the world will be available here. I doubt we would get a "US only" colour scheme here since our bikes will be from Japan. The price was too confidential so no word on that.

I am wondering why all the bike manufacturers are going for these 150cc bikes... coz there are a lot of 150cc bikes available now... from fuel economic to R15... i think there is no need of a replica for R15... The CBR should be a 250cc or at least a 200cc bike as the Kawasaki is going to launch their little baby Ninja250 which will eat up all these bikes... so i think this CBR will be in a severe windfall...
correct me if i am wrong...

OMG u mean to say honda will follow bajaj (strategy wise only)to pit there new bikes against market leader aka sister concernOriginally posted by Anjit_Sharma View Posthumm I saw this news very first time and read all previous posts before posting my reply....
the news says "Honda's new 125+ bike...."
i have a different aspect...
what would if this 125+ would be a Shine 135 or, CBF 135 Stunner,
humm.....what say....
if bajaj can do this (Disco 125 ---> Disco 135, XCD 125 --> XCD 135), then why not Honda......
i think we req learner bikes in 250 cc segment localization would benefit for sure some cruisers and bikes aimed at women too ... so finally we can jump to CBU units of higher displacement .. that wold be good strategyLast edited by blackcatasus; 02-21-2009, 07:28 PM.

Launching a new 150cc motorcycle (sportier side) is very much needed for Honda, and it will be good for the company too.
see....there are many like me who are just not buying the Unicorn because it is too simple for the eyes...otherwise its a gem!
so we need a sportier 150cc alternative from Honda itself...bring it on...

reg: new bike launch of honda
Honda should seriously think of launching an upgrade to Unicorn and a direct competitor to Pulsar 200 / 220 FI. Period.
I dont know how they will be able to meet the demand though. In Kochi / Cochin, Honda unicorn is only available after one month after booking!?! Crazy. I dont know why honda is not able to increase the production on the assembly line. And on top of this, when we enquire with the sales guy, they are arrogant and give a reply "if you can wait for a Suzuki Swift diesel for 3 months can't you wait for one month for a Unicorn?!"**@@ttained B!ke!ng Nirvanaa....

what would if they give some Chepo sTickering
to Stunner or Uni and
launch it with some name like GP edition Or Street Edition
.....
or launch a Unicorn Fi or Stunner FI
....
but my fingers are crossed for CBF 150rr and Fireblade
