    Personally, I believe that Manufacturers should not degrade their "Litre Class Brands" to this extent. Kawasaki is fine, with the smallest Ninja still being 250cc ... and Honda & Yamaha is bringing on "R"s & "CBR"s in such low displacement ...
    Are you sure honda sells a premium product with vibrations?? Is not there a technology that can reduce the vibrations? What about R-15 it is also just 150cc and it is damn smooth at high speeds.

    I do not know much about those oversquare engines. Pardon my ignorance.

      well .. i doubt it touches 160 .. the objects around the bike was not passing by like it should at 160
      i have driven my INDICA at 150 and i know how fast the surrounding go past you .. i think that was a dam speedo error ..

          ive also seen a vid like this where a ZMA goes till so called 160 on speedo but then a Maruti overtakes it !!

              guys do some research on the internet. Its not just another bike. It's a CBR, even if its only 150cc. An Aprilia RS125 does 170+ kmph easy. Bikes outside are really in a different league. They are in a different state of tune. A CBR 150 does 150+ true according to bike reviews by acclaimed testers.

                Sam, I did some high speed travels & driving too... when I was driving an Opel Vectra or a Mitsubishi Galant at over 110 mph on UK motorways the scenery didn't seem to be moving fast... I believe it depends on the road and the surroundings ... how wide the road is and how near/far the surrounding objects are!

                Same is the case with a BMW 3 series and a Lincon on a Florida highway at speeds beyond 100 mph.

                BTW, the roads in the video look like Indian roads... where was it shot?

                  true .. but more smaller the road and the closer the surrounding more the feel of speed will be exhibited ..

                    Honda CBR 150 would b no doubt a good alternative to the R15 , but with the same output if 17 bhp ,I doubt if it wud be faster than R15. Wid race setup I`m sure the Yam will keep up wid the Honda. Only a full on Track shoot out wud reveal the faster bike.

                        Well, this is a common flaw and Honda can avoid it a little only. Reg. YZF R15, it's not Short Stroke ... (Bore=57.8, Stroke=58) Yamaha did great work! They gave high end power through tuning,etc. but they never short stroked it!

                        I don't want more discussions with R15, Stay on Topic guys! I mentioned because it was put forward ...

                        @ Bandhav: My P180 UG3 is also a short stroke, maybe an Indian one. Reg. CBR, Honda can't do much to avoid this flaw. See Internet Videos & you'll see CBR vibrating (mostly below 5krpm & above 9krpm, strangely) ...

                          Top speed is a true 140-145kmph. yes, its much faster than our R15. Revs till a heady 11500rpm and has a superb handling package similar to the R15.
                          The 160kmph stuff is all speedo and not true.

                            The bike has 6 gears and revs to 13,500rpm as seen in the video, it should definately do a minimum 145kmph(true).

                              are you sure about the power? Dyno tests on the bike reveal 14.xx to the rear wheel with actual power rating given as 17 for the stock bike. Yes, definitely a speedo error on the top speed, BUT what I am saying is that its not only this bike that has the error. Its like the ZMA, it comes with the error. Most ZMAs stock shows 140 on the speedo at the top.

                                All speedos have error man. Especially the analogue ones.
                                The CBR150 2007 is 18.75ps. Do u want a company manual to prove, I can find one. Also it produces 15 odd bhp at the rear wheel, which is still 1bhp over what an R15 can pump at the wheel.
