I'm still scratching my head and waiting to see how it looks in the flesh. From the first spy pic to this, My view has considerably changed for the better.
Motorcycle fans always has such different views on what looks sexy. Some thinks the CBZ-X, hunk, Full fairing. Half fairing, naked, Digital, LED etc.etc looks cool while some disagree. Seems HH is pretty confused themselves with such different views and have come up with ZMR that seems pretty confusing . But SEEMS it is. Like I said, I'll wait till I see it in flesh.

I think, it would'nt be fair to compare ZMR with R15. The R15 is the better looking and has better proportion though when R15 is compare to R1, it pretty out of proportion itself with huge headlights & fairing with skinny tyres and looks quiet odd from the front.

It is noteworthy, the R15 has been built from stratch based on the R1, while ZMR has been built around an existing platform i.e. ZMA. The ZMR is stock ZMA in most case. In such case, Yamaha would have a challenge to give say the gladiator full fairing treatment. In this respect, I think ZMR has come out pretty decent. Could it have been better? Absolutely. So is R1 or Fireblade.

Stunner Fi does not have this RTM...as because there is no LCD display console.

Dude, you are buying bike for yourself, keep aside comments(both good and bad), just look at the bike in your own perspective, if you like go for it else if you feel old zma had the charm then get yourself a Zma-R. If you like Fazer/R15 you can go for them too, they are unique and are appealing too, never get forced, never scratch your head, take it easy !!

Both are totally different bikes and let them look different !!

PS : do you know how proportionate R15 looks when a 6" tall guy saddles it or for that matter stands next to it ?

+1 on that. I am 6' 2" tall and i know how R15 appears so small for me. That's the only reason refraining me from going for that.
Just looking for something that suits my build. Can ZMR be the one???

Just read the text and had a detailed look at the pictures. The new ZMR DOES look ugly. I mean, it is REAL ugly. And I truly believe that in flesh it would look even more so!

Except for that beautiful digital console, I don't think there is ANYTHING else to look at in this new iteration of the Karizma. Hugely disappointing work by HH. It might very well sport all the latest gizmos as far as the mechanics are concerned, but if, at the end of the day, a Karol Bag job manages to look BETTER than an OEM job, then it's not really worth it!

Nice that you felt like me....R15 suits well for small bodied lads of far eastern countries than large bodied Indians (6'+)

ZMR will look damn good for your height, as I said earlier HH makes comfort fit bikes that fits many physiques quite easily (n surprisingly)
