What else do u do? You hop on to the BAJAJ & TVS threads and keep criticizing them. Aryan just said it once, not like you, u keep repeating the same things again and again.

Am just being arguementative . I know you are voicing your personal opinion and so am I. Its nice to disagree in a civilized manner.

        • Looks like a bloated elephant! I am really disappointed as far as the looks are concerned. It looks like a mish-mash of style. The front borrowed from gixxers, the rear looks like CBZ-X especially with those grab rails. The fairing should have been a bit more rakish and they should have worked on the tank design. The old ZMA had such charm. It was a head turner even now. I am sure this one will be turning heads for all the wrong reason. Other than that i am ok with what HH has done with the best tourer. The speedo and clip ons reek of quality which is pretty nice and i suppose the FI will make what was one of the smoothest bikes much better.

And people cribbing about power and all should realise this bike is a Tourer rather than a sports bike or a commuter. And in that context HH has done a good job. Ofcourse everyone would have loved a bit more power but i am sure the collaboration with Honda comes with a few if's and but's.

            • the new ZMR looks more like a big sports bike now.. the designing is ok but could have been better if the HH team would have worked on the rear part of the bike too... hope the HH guys work on their high spare part cost too.

Vipin, everyone is entitled to their opinion. I'm not trying to point you out here. At this instance Aryan (as a moderator or not) expressed his opinion. For that matter he said that in much better words than how I said it yesterday. As long as other members don't try to pull someone's comment out and do their linguistic and psychological assessment over that, the forum runs smooth.

I know instances where mods did not do the right thing. I know even more instances where the mods did the perfect thing. It is an endlessly arguable topic. But they are not Gods to be perfect and sane always. Let us not argue publicly. A grievance can be discussed elsewhere but a grudge cannot be discussed.

                        Mr.Vipin,

It's my sincere request to tone down your posts a bit.First it was against the TVS/BAJAJ bikes and now the members. This is no akhaada where we come to fight it out and finish it till the last sweat.Everybody expresses his/her opinions out here and there's a wonderful and constructive way of doing it. I fear you are not even remotely close to understand that method.

Please try to act sanely otherwise we would hate to miss your wonderful posts, soon!!

About the bike : I feel its a decent enough upgrade. Honda has really never gone/given anything more than this than why to expect much!
ZMA was an acclaimed bike with only a few cons
First being the mileage and second being the heavenly expensive spares
While the first would (i expect) be taken care by the PGMFi, second would be further aggravated

                          But consider it this way,
How many buy R15 only for track purpose?
                          Not many!
Hence for daily routine rides (which include touring as well) this bike would score over an R15 in almost majority of the parameters...
                          1. A better and a comfortable seating posture
                          2. A much better torque and power spread all through the rev-band (R15 is a dud below 6-7k rpm)
                          3. It would be close to 4-5k lesser than an R15 on road, so a savings of 4-5k as well

Though, I would love to know how would the OIL COOLER works with the Hondas, coz I feel its just a make shift arrangement just to reduce price (as in P220 as well)

The ZMR has a GC of 159mm
The ZMA R has a GC of 150mm
                            The R15 has a GC of 160mm

I do not recount an instance where a ZMA hit the speed breakers. Even the R15... But the R15 has one point where we mount the stand... that's the lowest point (much lower than the fairing) and that touched the speed breakers if the hump is big and if the bike has over 150 KG's of load.

So, this might not be that bad. The only reason I said this not very confidently is the new gas shocks. If they are very cushy and if riding with a pillion... can't say unless we use the bike ourselves.

Vipin/ Tempie can cherish the red card he just received for 10 days. Try flamebaiting again and he's off to banville.
