I have stayed out of this thread till now. The ZMR is a good step forward technologically. However, the addition of a fairing without adding liquid cooling is a doubtful one. On top of that, I agree with the sentiment that you'll find after market mods that look better than this one. But I'm sure it appeals to the crowd that HH is trying to attract. (It should be obvious from the ads they make, the sticker jobs and all that.) Probably, it's good business sense on their behalf.

Likely it's going to be a reliable machine, however like every other bike you get around here it's going to be the service centers that have to deal with these bikes. Given the fact that open loop FI is already causing plently of sorrow when it comes to service. A much more complex FI system with more intricate failure modes is going to be interesting to say the least.

My sentiment toward the bike is as mixed as the responses here. Love the technology, hate the fairing and the fact that there really is no extra power.

(from bikeindia)

any info about the loans?

and my 2 cents, i dont care about riding 10-15 kms less top speed when compared to the fastest indian.. touring is not about who completes what fast but pleasure (A fundamental feeling that is hard to define but that people desire to experience) according to me .. and zma has always lived up to the expectations (enduringness even after hard toil and moil)

Thankxxx Ken Da the news of a new ZMR was from a long time & finally it is here.... The clicks were great specially the last 1 in white......
My conclusion the bike is great lets see how it runs on the roads bike looks bit heavy, wild & colour not doing so much they should have used multi-colours..........
But the overall package
GREAT.........

ZMR will look damn good for your height, as I said earlier HH makes comfort fit bikes that fits many physiques quite easily (n surprisingly)
average height of an Urban Indian is around 5 ft 7"

Ya it looks better in measurements but still i feel it just couldn't break the big shell of expectations that developed around it over a period of time. At the end of the day it simply feels like a mod job done by some mechanic. R15 is small but still it has looks and features that justify its ask for money.

Seriously i was pinning my hopes big time on ZMR but just not got what was expected. Now have to shuffle and decide between R15 and Thunderbird.
