Bajaj can probably make the Pulsar more refine but their power has to come down and thats perhaps is not their objective.

This is not to say, refinement is not possible for the same output. They will have to come at a greater price tag.
How about R15 then?

its a 150cc block thrwoing out 17 horses...but t still maintians very good refinement levels when compared to other bigger bore bikes!!!

So it basically boils down to the precision engineering that manufratures adopts.

Bunny: just a question for you..how did the ZMR feel handling wise? same as usual or better? and most of all the gear shift...was it smooth or clunky?! Am hearing HH have deployed a new clutch in this one..

Riaz R15 has loads of technical stuff to even compare it with the existing 150ccs

I was just opposing the saying that Refinement and power have inverse releation. No doucbt that R15 cant be compared with other 150cc, infact other bigger bikes in india.

The point here is yamaha has to do all R&D for their engineering on their own, so they have to build their product from scratch, while in case of HH its just taking engine from honda checking the frame which fits it, do some minor adjustments and add plastic components and put some stickerings and come out, honda has built very good engines which are as good as Yamaha R15, so all hero honda has to do is just do the job of fixing the engine in its frame and launch a bike, which we can say though its copied but its good, instead of re launching the same traditional engine again and again as if this continues for long i feel karizma will also fall from the category of premium bikes and come into normal range of other 150 cc and all, while in case of R15 thought its a 150 cc but its a class apart, and yamaha has proved that it can rule the market again like it did with RX 100.

Secondly i just pray the spare parts and good skilled engineers should be available on time for the new karizma zmr or it will give a bad repo for all those people who will buy it, or the case will be like you want a spare part in white but the dealer says only black is available majking the bike in technicolor
