Chiplun to Poladpur - Very good roads but with sudden potholes in between.
Poladpur to Mahab - Narrow roads with bad to decent road conditions.

Had travelled till Kolhapur in August the roads are good with few potholes... will riding till Belgaum on 19th.. will update on the roads again then...

^^ Nh4 from Kolhapur to Belgaum is just awesome, wide, smooth, with no potholes at all. One may fall in love with this road.
I have never seen these kinda good roads in Maharashtra.

1. Mumbai - Pune NH4 is in super awesome condition as usual.
2. Pune - Ahmednagar - Aurangabad SH60 is a 4 lane smooth & wide highway just like NH4 in excellent condition with enough curves to keep you on your toes !

The road is all patched up so no potholes but the gravel is left unattended and often at the corners ...

Nh-9 & nh-13

Just been to pune n back to solapur NH-9.
The 4 Lane work is still going on. It might complete in next 6 to 8 months.
speeding above 80/100 is suicidal....

Solapur to Bijapur : Solapur to Zalki (45 kms) in good condition but next 15-20 kms pathetic.

NH-211 Solapur to Osmanabad
very good road except the Ghat section of Tuljapur.
Will cruise till Beed in Feb on arrival of my Harley

Aurangabad - Jalna is supposed to be 4-lanes all the way. The only thing you need to be careful about is stray dogs and buffaloes(special mention for both).

Can't say anything about the rest of it.

Lol.... even i agree for that on that section.... Biru would also agree to that... he was literally thrown out of the road by them... twice..

Considering a lot of us, like to tour as well as we have a pan India network, figured that we could actually have THE most comprehensive road status in India for free!
Suggest all the members to do this State wise. This would immensly help people.
We could include important State Highways as well.

Was a pleasant surprise to see the butter like smooth roads finally. Road to nasik from aurangabad on sh 30 have been done up well.. (finally!). Also Aurangabad- Pune via Ahmednagar is a beauty as ever..
