2) You don't need to stop specifically to cool the engine down, but if you're doing 14-15 hour riding days, check the engine oil level and condition because they tend to get low and/or degrade over continuous use, depending on the kind of oil you are using (mineral, synthetic etc).

3) About aches etc, if this is your first long ride, space your breaks out in such a way that you allow your body to get adequate rest. The frequency of these breaks is totally upto you. But adopt a good comfortable riding posture, with decent wind protection, ear plugs, and a comfy seat, things should look good for a long riding day (or days).

Of course, wear proper gear
Thanks for the info.
Regarding riding gear i was planning no helmet and only sunglasses to protect my eyes, but my parents wont allow that obviously
Is there any gear that would help my neck ??
because the helmet may cause strain on the neck
and regarding oil, i use mineral oil. which oils come in small packets incase i need to topup ? (20w40 grade)

Funny guy you are.

So nice of you, your sunglasses will surely protect your eyes. I guess the idea is to donate them soon? Coz without a helmet, thats where you're headed.

I also thought it for the first 2 days,
But then its more of a psycho sought of thing, a mind game,

Just think for a moment how those labors working at construction site must be carrying 10-15 bricks on their heads when we cant pick up even 4-5 properly
[EDIT:] in our HANDS!

and yeah after that your pain will be gone...... forever

Fine, was just pulling your leg, but I really think you should consider the advantages of wearing a helmet.

- Nice graphics are available, more oohs and aaahs.
- If you're going on 3 digit speeds on the highway, a helmet will stop insects from mating permanently with your face.
- Saves you from dust and pollution in the city
- Less body surface exposed to the air equals less dehydration in the long run
- Many other such reasons like it gives you 100 times more chance of survival from an unlucky accident, which no one can predict.. etc etc

See... it's not just me. We at xBhp are weird. We go through all the pains of wearing a helmet, spending money (good money) to choose and buy a good one, carry it around as baggage, etc. What to do...? as they say, if you can't beat 'em, join 'em..!

That said, there are 'n' number of not so heavy helmets that are capable of doing a pretty good job of keeping your skull intact. You just need to look. I can tell you not to go for AGV brand helmets coz I found them to be heavier than the rest (or maybe thats just me, I use an AGV btw)

Damn.. I hope I didnt come off as too preachy.

Yup, functionality wise thats my choice.
Only problem is the graphics, not that good IMO.
Someone said he got it for 1.5k in the helmets thread.
If i get it for that price i'll definitely get one.(preferably a white one)
