Do not expect any drops in future. Be prepared for only hikes. We are using up the fossil fuels very fast.

Hope my Stunner FI gives me around 63 kmpl.

well it would be better for me to sell my bike & get a yo bike or hero electric
Now how much price hike would they do??? Already they have increased the petrol price earlier. Atleast they are not even reducing the taxes.

For your information, mileage figures of various bikes by SIAM, taken from team-bhp. I guess this is highly relevant in this thread.

@ravi bhai,
dont you think the pulsar-180 & gladiator(125cc) are delivering the same fuel efficiency of around 59 kmpl?? & even the p-220 is delivering 55kmpl??
Are you sure that the fuel efficiency figures tested by SIAM are correct??

These figures most probably under standards conditions. The mileage will be around 15% less in real conditions. All the figures are most probably when you ride around 40-50 kmph.

Overdrive's FE figures generally are on the higher side as they test them under conditions close to ideal. On the other hand, ACI measures the FE values under very harsh conditions and generally the figures quoted by ACI are at least 20% less than the OD figures.

Ultimately, everything depends on how they choose to measure the FE with varied riding habits and habitat.
