so actually we can see more people filling fuel from shell petrol pumps as the difference between prices of shell n Indian oil cos(IO, BP, HP) will reduce..
but i have heard that the shell buys petrol from hp & then adds a few additives to it & sells it under its brand name.

Well i hope that i am wrong & you are right because i would prefer shell over the other companies if the price difference is reduced.

PS: IMO All Reliance Petroleum outlets are closed now. Correct me if I am wrong.
Not all the Relaince Fuel outlets are closed!the petrol prices are as high as Rs 60/Ltr.They are suffering losses but as most of the Fuel Stations are located on highways, fuel sale is there!

Commuting has become expensive now. About time the mileage ratings are increased in bikes like pulsars, karizmas and unicorns to over 70kmph to really make them value for money machines!

Petrol may rise by Rs 4.50 this week Will have to shell out Rs 45 more for every 10 litre fill in my bike

In Hyderabad it is already Rs 54.

From now on, I'll plan a can of petrol as a birthday gift for my friends.

ehhh Rs.75\ltr ?? you might be kidding. the public will make a havoc if the price would be increased this much. If this hike would happen then it would be wise to buy a diesel car considering it's cost per km.
