i have CBZ-xtreme 2007 model. done nearly 29k kms till now. 28812 kms to be exact.

running on IRC tyres(made in thailand) got them from an IRC dealer in jayanagar, bangalore

size 18"
2.75 section front
110/80 rear

Dry and wet grip is much better compared to the stock tyre. mud it kind of slips but has good dry off roading capabilities (dry sand, stones) these tyres are very lightweight though. and do not heat that much after a long ride (say bangalore to tumkur 65 kms @ 70kmph minimum)

cornering capability - superb, actually managed to scrape my footpegs for the first time. never felt that confident on the stock tyres (eh.. front). was running a tvs crusader 130/80 rear in between.

costs - 1100/- front and 1800/- rear

done about 3.5 k kms and the tyres have worn out a bit. will probably last 15-16k kms. compared to the tvs crusader and the front stock tyre which did 24k kms (and still usable upto another 12k kms) the longetivity is much lesser.

demerit - tubeless tyre not available

I am quite apprehensive about these tyres working in the wet, how does the water get propelled outwards, especially from the center groove?

Exclamation

unfortunately i didnt find any even after searching throughly in bangalore. my cbz-x also has 18" rims..

Tubeless michellin would cost a bomb to import for 18" (more than 5k at least) and none of the brands available here have brought out 18" tubeless tyres, not even in the stock specifications of 2.78 section front and 100/90 section rear.

i settled for IRC tubed tyres as mentioned previously.
if you can find tubeless for your unicorn let me know
