MG sir - this is the information I was looking for when I asked "how does the Duke sound". thanks for this information. Can you compare the noise to any existing bike? eg: N250R? or P220? or CBR250?Originally posted by MG View PostOn the exhaust note:
It has a characteristic KTM note, i.e sounds like a (refined)free flow exhaust found on Indian bikes.

Thanks again.

Amazing review MG and amazing bike!
Especially liked this one...
Waiting to test ride it!If I was going to buy a CBR250 or a Ninja 250 or any bike around the 1 lakh mark?
All the Japanese competitors must be on their toes.
A good competitive price and bang!, It'll be a bulls eye!

I was gonna write the same thing last night but because of exams had to waitOriginally posted by sheelpriyeI am sure the engineers will park the figures of KTM between the N-250R & CBR-250R if given a free hand. Have a look at the R15's 0-100 timings from BAL.
Thumbs down.

The closest I can associate the Duke 200 exhaust note will be with "RTR 160 Fi"Originally posted by Shubz View PostMG sir - this is the information I was looking for when I asked "how does the Duke sound". thanks for this information. Ah awesome! I have colleague who owns a RTR 160 will check with him. Or will look for RTR's on the street to figure out how good/bad it soundsOriginally posted by MG View PostThe closest I can associate the Duke 200 exhaust note will be with "RTR 160 Fi"
On a side note I called Probiking earlier in the evening - just to figure out if there are any dates mentioned for bookings - The answer I got - 1st week of Jan!
I sincerely hope they allow test rides of this before accepting booking amounts.

There's a difference in exhaust note between RTR 160 and RTR 160 Fi. So, make sure you listen to the Fi one.Originally posted by Shubz View PostAh awesome! I have colleague who owns a RTR 160 will check with him. Or will look for RTR's on the street to figure out how good/bad it sounds
