Duke can be used for touring too. In fact, if you want comfortable long distance touring, you are better off not carrying a pillion, whichever bike it may be. Duke just makes it a little harder

One tip buddy. There is no 160 Character limitation here, also no limits on full-stop or commas for that matter. Feel free to use them all in plenty. It saves the time of people who are trying to address your concerns and doubts.

how many xbhpians from kolkata have booked duke?talking with the showroom-guy i felt the bookings are low compared to other parts of the country.
p.s. when i went there the showroom was deserted.the sales-persons were chit-chatting.and the question remains why do i race?

Went for a TD of this Baby Duke at Probiking Showroom at Kanjurmarg (Mumbai) & here is what i observed :
1. Saw 9 bikes being delivered from the godown (NOT BY TRUCK) the showroom guys were riding them in. Spoke to one of the guys who was riding & he confirmed the same :-o
2. Spoke to atleast 4-5 people waiting to either to Book or Finish Final Formalities for Financing.
3. Assured Delivery within 90 days of booking.
4. Lastly, What a ride it was.. Have been riding my faithful WARHORSE (APACHE 150 1st Gen) from past 6 yrs & am pretty convinced that this will be my NEXT BABY
P.S Took TD of DUKE right after coming straight from CBR250R TD
Then directly went to Vashi Probiking & there they had just got atleast 5 - 6 bikes all with TEMP REGISTRATION. Plus the showroom being bang opposite Vashi Railway Stn had loads of people inside inquiring about the DUKE
AM GUESSING THERE IS A OWNERSHIP REVIEW JUST AROUND THE CORNER BY A FELLOW XBHPIAN

Wait a minute so you mean to say that the bikes are being ridden by someone else before they are handed over to us? How would the meter show 0 when they deliver it then? Aren't they shipping by truck or some other means coz who's gonna ride 30 bikes to the showroom? The Kmarg showroom is receiving 30 bikes by March 5th as was told to me. But i will make sure no one rides my Duke before me thats just taking all the newness away from it!!!
