This means there is a vertical compensation for the angle created on an incline or decline, something like the adaptive headlight in the K1600, but way less advanced than that since the one on the KTM will not compensate for the lean.Originally posted by niks_devil666 View PostWhat does this mean ?
I hope I am right, if not please free to correct me.

Please correct the CR of KTM, its mentioned as 11:1 and then also as 11:3.
A few queries:
- 10.5lt, is that the fuel tank capacity of the usable fuel volume?
- What's the front suspension travel amount?
- Is the rear mono adjustable?
- How did the front suspension felt? Hard/Soft (lets compare it with say, ZMA, 220, R15 and CBR250 - because I know how its on those bikes & not to start another comparison war).
- Provision to fix luggage via bungee, any hooks provided?
- Any info on the gear ratios?
- [The most imp Q], will the prospective buyers be allowed to get a test ride on this bike, "on road", before booking/buying it?
Thanks for a details review, you saved me from buying a print mag (go Green, oops this one is Orange).

Amazing review! Superb pictures! Great explanation!
We (xbhp) are getting better and better when it comes to first impression review. This one tops all the charts!
The text and quality of photos taken are mind-blasting.
It certainly would add second thought to the potential buyers of R15 v2.0 and CBR250R!
Kudos to everyone involved in building up this review!
Cheers!

At last some one has mentioned about replacing his 220 with the duke and i thought i was the odd man outOriginally posted by Praful View PostOh! I'd so love to replace my 220 with uber hot 200!
.
About the top speed-First and foremost our roads are not safe to do even 100 let alone 130 and above. My speeds normally vary between 80-100kmph depending on the road conditions and an occassional burst to 120 max.Socha Toh Locha.

Picture will be more clear at the time of luanch but I guess single colour to start off.Originally posted by lockhrt999 View PostOne question is still unanswered. What colors will we have duke in, in India? Apart from orange, I think black will also come. I'm wising for grey theme as on KTM stunt 125.
1) New Pulsars are also round the corner ans we are also eagerly awaiting for itOriginally posted by s_hari View Post1) After this project what can we expect from pulsar series. Models, capabilities, performance and so on. People who cannot afford Duke will rely on this model
2) What was the contribution or learings of Bajaj R&D from this project. This will help us to understand which area will the next gen Pulsar/Discover/.... excell in. On the face i defenitely see better fit/finish of the vehicle, improved quality of the mechanical components.
3) When and what is the next iteration of Duke series. 250cc/350cc/....
2) Both the KTM125 & KTM200 are completely built in India with design and technical input coming from KTM Austria. Even the WP shockers which you see on the bike is manufactured in India with design input from WP Austria.
3) Let concentrate on Duke 200 for the moment
