      WP Suspension is manufactured under license by Endurance Systems, Pune.

      In the same manner, Metzeler tires can be manufactured under license by MRF, Chennai.
      We will get all our questions answered on 25 June

      and ABS System by Bosch will be made by Bybre (Brambo Break India Limited) in India.

                I called my dealer again. He says the mumbai launch is delayed by a few days due to pending rto approval. The pune launch is as per schedule. The test bike will be available as well. He said he'll confirm the new date on Monday

                      And I guess there was a post on previous pages about the exclusivity being at stake if priced low. Let me tell you this- the D200 that was launched at a killer price failed to set the sales charts on fire. In a city like Bombay I dont see too many on road even now! It's like an affordable exotic.......the only time I see many together is at the PBK service centers or at biking events

                        Any idea about the sound of the bike?? Any one?? Does it replicates its younger sibling D200 or can we expect difference in the two??

                        PS: I know the bike has not been launched yet in India and I have not yet got the chance to view D390's videos on youtube...

                          It's different. Dunno how much and how but all reviews say it's quite loud. From some youtube vids it sounds deeper and gruntier.

                          I just hope it sounds way different than D200 as that sounds like a damn insect!

                          EDIT: Someone in Goa who saw the test mule said on the GEARS page it sounded like a superbike! .D

But there should be a lot of after market options available considering that its a global bike. It already has akra as an option. Leo vince will catch up soon i guess.

                              Sound makes lot of difference. As per website reports difficult to rely the sound is better with better Bass. Now less than 24 hrs all queries will be answered.

                                if the d200 is a 2 stroke moped then the d390 sounds like a 4 stroke moped....im sorry i dont know how to put it in words here...but trust me there is a difference (description credit goes to a friend on xbhp )
