Just confirming, there is no black option right?

Every Motorcycle has a tale to be told and there is no greater privilage in the life of a rider than to have truly understood what his Motorcycle stands to tell. Some of the greatest stories in the world are not written, they are experienced.

The introductory price will give CBR 250R a run for the money. Though agreed both are in different platforms so a comparo is not right! But then again it will be compared in the Indian market because of the higher CCs. I guess getting hold of a good winshield should be able to deflect a lot of windblast at higher speeds. But lets see how the ownership reports turns out. This bike is definitely on my "wait and watch and may be quickly save money and buy" list!!

The pricing is just too good to be true!! Hats of the KTM and Bajaj.

        Cheers,

            • Financing details

Forgot to update this last evening.

Finance is available and the minmum downpayment is ~37k (close to 38k). For one year it is 9.5% simple interest.

Test rides to be offered from 30th.

This is at BTM KTM. Should be standard across Bengaluru I guess.

That's exactly why we see a lot of expensive vehicles with PY reg. plates in nearby cities. But, I wonder if the NOC charges in a different state, really works out to be cheaper!

The DUKE 390 is a very frugal bike

"Averaged over city and highway runs, the 390 Duke will only come in about 10 percent lower in terms of fuel economy than the Duke 200, possibly around 32kmpl

Yeah, the logic is that despite this is higher capacity engine consuming more fuel, you won't have to rev as much as you need to do on D200, which makes sense.

I'm pretty sure D390 will have a BETTER mileage than D200 on highway at speeds of 110 kmh and higher.
Right now my D200 does 40 kmpl at constant 100 kmpl, but only 28 kmpl at constant 130 kmh which is near redline.

Going around a town gives me only around 30 kmpl, but that's with my kind of riding and with lots of stops...
Anyway, I'm sure mileage isn't at the top of the priority list for any Duke owner...
