Indians might find the supermoto styling a bit off Road type but this bike is sufficiently bonkers. I didn't find a single reviewer who had anything particularly bad to say about it. Indian bikers have matured over the years with the market. And I don't see any bike as practical as this in the market at all! Fuel efficiency like the lower capacity cbr... cheaper than international pricing(quite the opposite and many heartfelt Thanks to rajiv bajaj for accomplishing a seemingly impossible feat like that)... cheap spares.. the best set of international tyres that are great in the rains as well and abs... all cheaper than the 300 ninja which doesn't have stuck awesome tyres or abs either.... for those who don't like Dukes or don't like their sound... Plz ride one for an entire day first. .. it will change your perspective completely. .. easiest Bike to live with!

Thats strange , whats stopping the PBK showrooms to stock them first.
No they won't stock power parts. Prs guy clearly told me he is the official distributor for akrapovic in india but the Akra exhaust for the duke is sold only through ktm power partsboth India and abroad. He told me to all any friend of mine to get it through ktm abroad. Accessories sold through him won't be official ktm power parts.

What happened to the sprockets which was available for D200 - and aren't there any better windshields (aftermarket)???

The WP engineered suspension is same diameter 43mm as that of RC8r superbike. It is no way off road. Actually it's super stiff and will have different shims..I.e. a slightly softer yet firm setup for our amazing roads!

(RE: to Zak) thanks buddy, appreciate your comment. will probably lean towards D390. Wondering if Ninja with ABS might make an entry around Diwali, then once again i will be confused, hehe

KTM BundGarden, Pune have removed the RC8 from
    Display.

Hopefully, they are making space for the DUKE 390 •_•
    Can't wait anymore

If I have a thought like you, I will stick to D390, bcoz of many reasons. But only concern is Fairing . Always D390 is a head of N300R.
