Re: Bajaj Pulsar RS200 Ridden and Reviewed

Waited for SS 200 very long time and that went in Vain, thus ended up in 200 NS.
Life is a road, therefor I wander !!!

Of course the sales guy at Sai Service explained to me that this difference was mainly due to difference in the Insurance Policy chosen by different dealers. And please stay away from people who try to get more money out of you by giving long waiting periods (However a waiting period of 2-3 weeks is fair enough, even here it is the same)
      Hi
I booked RS200 ABS on 24th april from Sai Service Andheri east and according to them waiting period will be 2 months. they says that around 40 RS200 were booked on its First day. Till now i have seen only 2 RS200 on Road. My Friend purchased Non Abs RS200 and he got the bike within three weeks on TC number.
I hope i'll get mine soon.

I think this is really sad considering its not even a week. I would have asked to replace the bike.

Coollant would've entered engine as well, there's chance that damage is already done.
Check with Bajaj on engine replacement.

              Because they are ridiculously priced.

I don't think you can get branded exhausts for the RS 200 but I love the Leo Vince on the Dukes!

Oldfox sir, very nice review, one small question though, is it a practical bike for day to day use or as200 would be more practical?

AS200 Anyday. But then ergonomics depends. Also FE or Carb...Lots of things matter.

I would still say AS100.some 45K cheaper too

Do they replace bikes! I dont think so.Coz its already registered with the Chassis number etc to RTO. Hard to exchange one. Also if you have any live example can you share it please.

If anything is wrong with the bike while taking delivery, like ungodly numbers on the tacho, oil level, coolant, chain inspection and etc etc. We can ask the dealer to replace the bike even before the registration thing happened.

That is the reason we do a PDI and then allow the dealers to go ahead with the registration.

                    Cheers,
                    Sanjay

That's too much. I'd love to own one, but I guess I'll have to wait a few more years, like I'm doing for the last five years. Anybody knows whether RS200 is using the same FI unit as exported 200NS?

                              27000 bro.you don't need few years.take a personal loan then.
I don't think 200ns has any fi even in Indonesia. That's a mod one you see there.correct me if I am wrong though.
