I love bikes, I always have. Since the last 5 years, I've loved riding bikes more than anything else (of course that love cannot be mingled with the love for my better half!! ). I love everything about bikes... to every nut and bolt.

But as the saying goes... Love alone does not make you a man.. likewise, your passion and love for bikes does not make you a biker alone. It's the guts to shoulder the responsibility of being a biker what makes the difference, and this whole new dimension, a whole new perspective that XBhp has brought to my thought process, is XBhp's greatest gift to me. Earlier I just used to ride bikes without knowing my responsibilities as a biker, cursing the roads, zipping past others, always trying to stay ahead of others, full of venomous envy and fancy... that was certainly not biking.

Meeting with people like Sunny, Old Fox Sir, Ken, Anurag Sir, Aryan and all the other members of XBhp, I really came to understand the true genome of a biker, that it's never ever about the bike, but it's always about fond bonding between the biker and bike, and I use the term "fond bonding" because that's what injects a respect for your bike and the respect for your bike is what creates the sense of responsibility of others and you evolve as a true blue biker.

Every interaction with the members of XBhp (be it just a hand shake) has taught me a lot, and above all I've gained some very fond friends and mentors.

When I bought my first bike around 5 years ago, I used to ride alone, then I came across XBhp and today I have a brotherhood around me.

I am a newbie in here. Reading some of the triplogs and threads has been very humbling for me.

xBHP has instilled this sense of freedom and humility in me. I just feel I have become a better rider these days.

I don't try to race in the streets anymore.
I have become more streetsmart these days.
I pester my SVC guys for the minutest of things.
... ah well, the list goes on.

The last 4 months has been very exciting for me catching up with some wonderful folks from various walks of life, from students who are awesomely mature for their age to 40 year old kids whose faces light up everytime I ask about their bikes.

Its just that when you meet some of these guys, you just KNOW that the they love their machines. The relationship is almost symbiotic. (Funny I am using the word 'relationship'). I may not be there yet, but am making good progress

Its just unbelievable that a php-based forum installation and a database is sitting somewhere creating new friends and close bonds, all along being hopelessly unaware of it. Technology For TEH WIN

Since I was a kid, I loved motorcycles. When I was 17, I got hold of a 110cc motorcycle. I had no friends who could tell me how to ride it, my father didn't ride a motorcycle. Basically, I had to deal with this thing completely alone. Internet was my friend. Somehow, I stumbled upon xbhp.

Here I am, 4 years later, I've been to a lot of places on my motorcycle, last one being to a place with altitude of 16000 feet, in the Himalayas. I do intend to ride more, a lot more. For everything related to bikes, xbhp has been there for me, always.

        Thank you, Xbhp.

            xBhp..... U Rock.....!

My association with members of xBhp ( Bangalore- xBhp- Sanjay Mugur, Joel, Renu Kumar is from 2006 though my join date shows Feb. 2009..... xBhp made me face the realities of bikes & biking in general..... before when i had a Yamaha RX-Z, i used to think she used to do 160+(read:speedo).....

but after i came in contact with Joel & others for checking my top whack with a speed gun on precisely the 18th of June,2006, my eyes opened to the realities of biking.....! coz she locked @ 118 kmph.....!

but the fun came a lil later, wen a Karizma showing 132 kmph on the speedo was actually only 111 kmph on the speed gun.....! n my Z (ported engine) was wayyyyyyyyyyy ahead of it @ 125 kmph.....!

Finally, sold my Z in 2009..... she used to do 132 kmph with a stock engine & she had 7 clutch plates.....! - an awesome job by my mechie- kudos to him.....! jus remember those days wen i used to rip at those speeds on Delhi-Gurgaon highway.....! n everytime, she jus felt better.....! n all the other bikers use to just look at me baffled.....!

Since then though i do not post much, i frequently read posts whenever i get time..... and trust me, if ders one info source you can trust in the biking scenario, then its xBhp.....! if any of my frens are ever lost in speculation before going for a bike, xBhp has always been the one stop source to end all the speculation.....!

            Thank You XBhp For Everything.....

Kudos To Sunny & His Vision Of xBhp & Entire xBhp Team because of which IT is what it is TODAY.....

Well over the years the family of xBhp has grown and from each member of the family the knowledge and know how has increased. I am a person who likes to go through the comments and conversations, basically a listener. But I definately have benifited from the this site. It is like every time I sit on my computer I have to go through some pages of xBhp. It has taught how to drive safely, do it yourself things, how to take care of you bike, how to get out of troubles pertaining to bikes if you face them while travelling as members share their knowledge and experiences. Getting good advise about literally everything pertaining to a bike. First when I used to have some trouble with my bike the first thing which crossed my mind was a mecanic or service station but now the first thing I do is check xBhp to see if there is a solution posted in any experiences of fellow members. That is what xBhp means to me. Thanks xBhp and to all fellow members.

Well i came to know about xbhp from some orkut friends. Then i registered in july 09,but it was unsuccessful and i registered again and finally got the membership in august and thus i was entering to a totally professional biking world.i spent almost my time with this site reading all the section and i was getting addicted each day.i learned lot from xbhp..

Before joining here i was a typical Indian biker who hates Helmet to the core.i was very much irritated by wearing helmets, i bought a 300rs helmet only for escaping from police. i rode ma bike without helmet for 4 years. From here i came to know the importance of road safety. As soon as i became an xbhpian i bought a branded(cross) helmet, jacket and a riding gloves. From past two years i dont even dare to touch my bike without a helmet whether the ride it is 1km or 100km trip.I will not allow my friends to ride ma bike without a Helmet. Now i am aware of all safety measures.

And the most important one, xbhp biking gurus helped me to select my new bike(P220 dtsi)and rtr 180( for bro)and i have gone though all the motorcycle ownership experience of all bikes in my list thus had a clear idea about the bikes.

As i have been regular member here i got call from fellow cochin xbhpians for G2G`s.got so many friends there and done so many professional, well mannered rides with them(both cochin and trivandrum xbhpians),

Now the svc people does not messes with me as i am very well aware of my bikes(special thanks to the gurus in motorcycle ownership threads) and finally the svc guys(of all brands) here in kochi does not mess with the bike owner which having an xbhp sticker on it as they very well know xbhpians know more about their bikes than them
                    PROUD TO BE AN XBHPIAN

                      Thank you note

                      Hey guys,

i have been barely a month old noob and i must say this site is a heaven for all bikers and soon to be bikers. I was completely confused and misled by a lot of people and magazines which made taking a decision on which bike to own a frekkin tedious task!!

But thanks to XBHP and the members i was able to take a call on YAMAHA FZ16 and absolutely loving it right from the moment i start her engine to all crazy rides i am doing so far!

                      A REQUEST FROM A NOOB

                      1) Now xbhp becoming even bigger with the magazine launch.. i hope they will soon conduct big interstate tours with their huge number of xbhp forum members making their presence felt everywhere in India and abroad.

                      2) Organise track days for the members and workshops on safe riding, maintenance by tagging along with the motorcycle companies like yamaha etc. and perhaps cover a story on their mag helping the magazine itself. (I doubt if any other magazine has done this before!! lets hope xbhp is the 1st one!!)

                      3) May be DIY video links on the site and also tagging the link on the magazine for new prospective magazine owners.

                      4) Think about doing a profesional online webisode video series of riding across India (XBHP Has already done it!! may be posting it on youtube and sharing it with the people and not just limiting to xbhp members!!)

PLEASE DON't THINK about JV with a TV news channel trying to put up a sloppy TV episodes like 'raftaar' and other existing nonsense shows!!

                      5) Rather than writing a ownership experience of test bikes, the magazine erm post ownership experience of the xbhp members.. that should sound more genuine to the readers...

i guess i better stop ideating now!!

but truly, XBHP is the best site i have come across.. thanks a ton guys..you have one more fan to add to your list!!

NO relation, the thing which I am still unable to understand till date is why the guy who runs team-bhp chose that name even though they came a good one and a half yesrs later than us and were very well aware of xBhp! This confusion is pretty widely prevalent.

ANS : In past there has been this kind of INTERSTATE MEETS happening. The Tri-State meetup of Karnataka-Kerela-Tamil Nadu,Friendship day meetup of ORISSA-WEST BENGAL, the MUMBAI-PUNE meetups, the DELHI-CHANDIGARH meetups.... all have been happening from long time.

We you say xbhp should conduct interstate tours, who do you want to take the responsibilty? Sunny and Team? Since you are a part you can also organise a G2G and post the plan in the offline thread. People who wish to join can club with you.
