  • xBHP Starter Pack

Hi all, I\'m here with a proposal.
Can we have a starter/introductory pack for xBhp members? This pack can contain some xBhp stickers of various sizes, a t-shirt, couple of key-chains and if possible, the xBhp Coffee Table book as an option. It\'s very difficult to get them from various sources. If all these can come together, we can purchase them as a pack at a fixed price. Many of the new and existing members would definitely like to flaunt xBhp.
Members please suggest and give inputs.

Now that the site is active, can we expect some opinions/views?

Xbhp has helped me a lot.
Get to know my bike much better.Troubleshoot my problems for which earlier i would have relied on mechanics.
Help my friends with the knowledge i gain here.
After reading those travelouges i visited a few of the places our fellow members have toured.
The importance of safety gear.Bought a helmet and gloves and now next on the list is a good jacket.

                    • How has xBhp helped you?

Hallo Leute ( Hello People in German) haha.

I'm Santosh and I am 28 years of age. I have spent all my life living and growing up in the Army cantonment in Secunderabad (Hyderabad's twin city). A year after I graduated from Computer Sciences in 2008, I picked up a Honda Dio (the 2008 model) as this is all I could afford back then :P
Plus, with the massive recession upon us in 2008, I didn't know if I'd have a job or the money to pay for the EMI. So, I settled with something financially practical and simple that my salary could pay. It is 2016 now and guess what, I still ride it! I have done over 55,000 kilometers on the little rascal!

I am really impressed with my little blue Dragon because not only has this bike performed without much complaining, but also because this bike has been my best and fiercest companion over all these years. I have seen motorcycles come and go, but I stuck to this little moped because it just did everything I wanted it to do... Until now

I joined this forum in the year 2010 and since then, I have been hooked on to reading ownership threads, tour logs and just other random threads. Expert comments and replies on these threads have allowed me to learn to ride correctly - by being safe, using a machine efficiently and with collective potential. It may sound unbelievable, but I actually learnt to lean into corners on my Dio :P. I learnt how to maintain and love machines, but more importantly, I learnt how to respect traffic rules and other people on the road. I have learnt the fun behind motorcycling and the problems that some machines bring - I have read threads on how people have fixed these issues on their own. This has taught me to find a solution to problems in real life instead of complaining and whining about things that are in my control.

So, xBhp, here's a salute to you, to the fantastic members of this community who are helping people become better not only on their rides, but also in real life. A massive hello from this noob from Hyderabad who is just getting started on a wonderful biking journey!

Again, thanks to all you kind-hearted people for making this platform so brilliant

                      Ride long, ride safe.

                      Cheers!
                      Santosh
