Took a little wile to know how IMPORTANT xBhp is!!!

I became a member more than a year back and was ideal till 4 months back. i had a great passion towards biking and bikes. Truly saying i used to see just the picture from each treads and posts and push off from xBhp. But for the last 3 months i have just sat and went deep into each and every threads. This started when i was searching about HID in google, xBhp pooped in at 2nd place on the first page. I just wondered, what stuffs will this site provides so as it poops in at no.2 spot(seriously this is what i thought).

But now when I started to make into xBhp, the first thing i noticed is RIDE SAFE, SAFE RIDING AND HOW TO FOLLOW SAFE RIDING. This some what attracted me to read in detail. Finally i took up the pledge.RIDE SAFE. After taking this pledge i was taken back when i just recollected what i was doing after registering in this URL over a year back(that i literally wasted of knowing nothing).

Later i started interacting with all, adding comments, replying, justifying the biking truth by senior xBhp(honestly). This indeed disguised my new motive about biking to a matured level, and this came in a very short period thanks xBhp. Now all my queried regarding bikes, servicing, etc, xBhp holds the key.

So like this my journey started in xBhp.

    Proud to be a xBhpian.

Once again thank you xBhp and the whole credits goes to SUNNY bhai.

You deserve it, for giving us the INDIANS with such a nice bikers forum.

      xBHP ROCKS..!

xBHP helped me in buying my bike, yes I was about to buy Pulsar 180cc UgII, but then my eyes catched the thread stating about the new Pulsar 180 cc the third upgrade of the bike. Read the thread, and thought of waiting for two more months to get my hands on the new bike. The wait was fruitful, right after the launch of the bike i bought it, and I am in love with my bike.
Not only this, but learned many things from xBHP.

      A big thanks to xBHP.

Proud to be an xBhpian., and the whole credit goes to SUNNY bhai..!

For many Xbhp may be just a forum or a website,
But for a careless rider like me its something more than a simple website
        After attending the 1st G2G,
Some seniors were asking(read Forcing) to wear the helmet,
I bought a lid,I realised the importance of the lid when my friend met with a accident and was saved due to the helmet,
        Started attending some g2g's
Then started changing my life in slow motion,
It helped me in making some good, everlasting, like minded, bonded and helpful people,It made me better in every odd thing that comes to my mind

First of all a big cheers to all the Hyderabadi Xbhpians who helped me for making me more responsible and improving me totally as a person,

Secondly thanks for the total Xbhp team for making a platform like this
        RIP vinu,
        You will be remembered forever!!

I've been a part of this community since January 2010. I was, am, and will be in awe!
I found this community to be the one-stop place for anything biking. Almost all the problems that a biker faces, have found a solution here. The discussions are lively, the triplogs give me the feeling of 'being there, doing that', the photos make me drool, and the articles are insightful.

I do not get to ride my bike much these days, but whenever I do, I always keep all the lessons that I learnt here, in mind. And believe me, my riding has improved considerably!

I haven't been able to contribute much to the forum, but I do sign in regularly to catch up with whatever's happening. I hope I get the chance to write a good article for the forum and the magazine someday!

Which brings me to the magazine. This is the ONLY magazine which I have bought for the past year. The mag is completely different from the run-of-the-mill magazines published in our country. It is more about 'I, the biker', which may sound selfish, but its not! It actually encourages us to enjoy our rides, do the off-beat, and ride responsibly! It is one of those magazines which you can read again and again.....and again! And you still won't cease to love it!

Hats off to the entire team behind this work of art, this revolution! xBhp ROCKS!

I still remember the first day I visited xBHP and "THE PLEDGE" I signed for safe riding. It feels like all this happened just happened yesterday. Been following xBHP for long now. Things changed on personal front but my love for my second family remained the same. xBHP not only helped me grow as a safe rider but also guided me to make people understand the need of riding gears and helmets while on Indian roads. All I can say is warm THANKS form my heart to xBHP.
Fare thee well xBhp, All the best for being the biggest name in corporate world

I came across Xbhp when I visited the Auto Expo 2008( I came to Delhi in June 2007). I was quite elated to learn that there were ohter people on this planet who share the passion with me. My friends used to call me a maniac when I used to say that someday I would own a sbk. Right after I got back from the Expo I loggrd in and created my id but hardly used it. I always yearned to get to the G2g's but didnot have a bike then. I actively started participating in g2gs when I got my ZMA in April 2010. And then on it is a pleasant journey, have earned myself some good freinds and gained a lot of knowledge.

Anyways, changes in me due to xbhp. Today I am a lot more sedate & safe rider. Earlier I used to ride my Hero Puch like a R1. But now I know how to tame the ZMA. Earlier, I wore a helmet to escape from the mamus. Today it has become a part of my riding. Thorugh, Xbhp I came to know a lot about bikes & their technology. Today I feel proud when my freinds approach me for some suggestions about which bike to buy. Though, it a long way to go. As some wise man said " Learning ends with life".

              Proud to be an X-bhpian!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Before i joined xbhp i was, well a hazard on the road, i was exactly the kind or maniac motorcyclist who everyone hates.
Through xbhp i became more sensible and mature towards my riding, nowadays i barely go above 50 inside the city and cutting through traffic has almost completely stopped, have started using my indicators properly and hav stopped thinking that the horn is some sort of musical instrument that i can play while riding
Have become a much safer and responsible rider and have developed sensibility to respect other road users.
Life should not be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in a pretty and well preserved body, but rather to skid in broadside, in a cloud of smoke, thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and loudly proclaiming, 'Wow! What a Ride!' -Hunter S. Thompson

and the question remains why do i race?
every finishing line is the begining of a new race.

#i have learnt to manipulate my own adrenaline and the perception of biking is different.
                      #overkill is underrated.

#i don't subscribe to co-incidence,either it is the rider or the other moron on the road

(:)people keeps on saying add spark to life, bajaj got hold of that idea and added an extra spark to bike.

                        I've become a biker.

P.S.: For those still unaware; I pick up my helmet before the key.
Dont honk unnecessarily. And "prefer pass light cuz I always assume the guy in the front is deaf".
Dont overtake from the left (recently found out that side is where the idiots of the road generally prefer jumping onto from no where).
Use the indicators cuz "I paid for the indicators, so I will use it".
Have almost completely stopped performing stunts.
Avoid riding too fast when near a School and completely avoid honking near it aswell as any hospital.
I was a fanboy back then. I'm a fan now.
I ride THE most beautiful bike on the planet, there are and will always be idiots revving too close to me, honking, "challenging" me for a race. I ignore. Always.
Biking has become a pleasurable experience from the experience to more from point A to B.

Bottomline: I've become a biker from just a regular rider.

i finally got my hands on the anniversary edition of my favourite biking magazine .. my favourite magazine to be frank.
I myself being an RTR rider was looking forward for a travelogue on it through the snow capped mountains of himalayas.
and to my excitment i saw Srikeerthis and Sushmas travelogue... boy i was smitten.
Congrats and thanks guys. you made my day.
p.s. i would like to confirm one small thing about that article, it says that the ride was done on an 180 ABS but the pictures show a normal one,( no ABS logo on the side fairing, and the Apache logo seems to be the one on the normal one.. not the 3D one. ) was the bike a custom built one by TVS??? i couldnt be sure because i couldnt make out the HEC unit inside.

Re-Posting this: I had send this as a mail with sub A rider's letter but I didn't get any confirmation if it was submitted or did you guys at xBhp receive it or not so I'm re-posting this on the xBhp forum.
                                Hi Xbhp,

I have followed Xbhp since the very first magazine which came out on the October of 2010 though I didn't subscribe due to some reasons I made sure that I got my hands on every Xbhp issue possible. I was so happy to find out that there was a magazine dedicated to biking and a team who was putting all their efforts to make it happen. 2010 was the year when I got my first bike which was the Pulsar220 I had just begin to ride though I had riding experience it was the very first bike for me. I really loved that issue reason for first it got my attention and made me involved with it and not only that the content was so strong it made me so close to the book it was like a holy book for bikers, the pages covering the 100 tips on Street Survival and make everyone aware about wearing a Helmet or my favorite the Ultimate Guide to Touring on Motorcycles, Monsoon Motorcycling or the latest Sleep Fatigue and Motorcycling these pages constantly help me to improve my riding and help the younger and novice's to improve their riding and educate others. Me being 18 Xbhp has encouraged me to start my own awareness program in my city Pune and college I'm currently working on it. Me being a transportation design student I feel that educating people and other bikers is important actually I would like the Xbhp team to come to my college and help spread the awareness of riding a motorcycle wearing a helmet and how other protective gears are required and how speeding is dangerous. I loving riding I always wanted to ride in a pack or a group somewhere far but I always got a chance to go as a pillion Xbhp brings me close to my dreams of riding and hope to someday ride with the Xbhp team and the fellow Xbhpians around India.

Few Things I extremely Like about Xbhp:-

                                1. First about the magazine the print quality is superb, and the teams constant efforts put in the magazine is shown.
                                2. Once there was a letter from a xbhpian highlighting that posters were not provided in some issues, since then every issue I bought has a poster provided with them.
                                3. You provide us with a CD to xbhpians to experience some of the most amazing journey like the GIR and Mission RED planet(My favorite).
                                4. The writing just showcases the feeling of the author who tries to showcase his experiences which is very well reflected it makes me close to the author and experience the journey from his eyes as if
I'm standing there and witnessing it that feeling while reading the article is just amazing its close to my heart.
                                5. Giving photography a new meaning Motographer I wish I had a sticker which I could proudly showcase.

The ride through the Grand Canyon, about the Ducati Diavel, Ducati 1199 Panigale, Driver Vs Rider, GIR, Mission Red Planet, i, THE BIKER each and everything published makes this magazine so unique.
When I found out about the 2nd Anniversary magazine I had to get it my favorite the BMW S1000RR Vs MINI I was surprised with the rubber test provided at the back all this small details make Xbhp the most preferred biking magazine.

I Do Expect a Few things from the team:-

                                1. If you could give seminars or do something apart from the online forum and the magazine to help people realize about the risk and danger of rough riding and how following the 100 Tips on street survival can be useful it would be great I would really like you people to visit my college in Pune.
                                2. If you provide us with tips on how to click fabulous images like you do would be a treat for everyone.
                                3. Provide us with Xbhp stickers.
                                4. Like I'm a thin guy and at times I feel less confident while I ride my bike because of people staring at me, if you could write about something to make riders more confident and make the ride an adventurous and more experienced one.

Since, I'm re-posting almost after a month of writing this mail to xBhp I have a few points to cover,
Firstly congrats on the new improved website I was scared when the page was out for a few days when the teasers of the will the journey continue came out, also I had a complaint I didn't had my account validated at the time I had sent this mail actually it was the reason why I had sent this letter in a mail. I was not sure and I had started following xBhp on twitter so I wrote on the xBhp twitter about my problems and had received a tweet reading we will look into it and get back to you till date I haven't received any response. Sad here. I would like to thank you because of your forum I found out the PUNE G2G group and was so happy they welcomed me with open hearts I guess the xBhp team has achieved what they wanted getting people with interest in bikes and biking and practicing safe riding united. I missed the most important Introduction ride with them due to chicken pox but they plan rides for new comers and next time I won't miss it. Even I was so happy with the new website and the features specially the one where I can buy the previous magazine's I have missed a few and got the Feb-Mar 2012 magazine oh I loved the neighbouring country Introducing Motorcycling in Pakistan I really loved that article. Thank you.

Before I sign off I would Like to thank Sundeep Gajjar thank you sir for making our biking experience more enjoyable, fun, adventurous and a lot safer, Sandeep Goswani Sir your riding experience is something I look up to always, it gives me inspiration to ride on to different places and even where no one ever went before and the rest of the Xbhp team for the amazing work put it to make Xbhp so unique and would like to Congratulate you on your 2nd anniversary of your magazine and completing a decade of your online community. I'm really happy to tell you how much I enjoyed reading your 2nd anniversary edition of Xbhp magazine, keep the good work and thank you for connecting us to the authors spirit and fellow Xbhpians.
